There’s seriously nothing that cheese can’t do.

Grilled cheese, cheese dips, pizza, mac & cheese, cheesecake…the list goes on and on.

It comes in so many shapes, sizes, textures, and flavors and works well in everything from salty appetizers and light lunches to hearty dinners and scrumptious desserts.

There’s probably a million incredible cheese recipes floating around the internet.

But I’ve managed to pick 50 of my faves. And I hope you like them as much as I do!

50 Incredible Recipes With Cheese From Breakfast to Dessert

1. Old-Fashioned Macaroni and Cheese

I had to start with a classic. And mac & cheese is probably one of the most famous and beloved cheese recipes around.

But while there are many ways to spice up this yummy dinner, sometimes the old-fashioned way is best.

All you need is sharp cheddar, macaroni, milk, eggs, and butter.

It’s easy to throw together on a hectic weeknight or when you need a lot of cheesy goodness in your life.

2. Warm and Cheesy Bacon Dip

Cheese and bacon- need I say more?

Bring along this dip if you are in charge of the chips at the next tailgate, and you’ll be a hero!

It earns smokey and meaty flavors from crispy bacon and a cheesy 1-2 punch from cream cheese and classic cheddar.

Pair this insanely addictive dip with chips, crackers, and veggies, and watch as it disappears.

3. Cracker Barrel Mac and Cheese

If anyone knows classic comfort food, it’s Cracker Barrel.

But did you know you can make some incredible Cracker Barrel copycats at home? It’s true!

So why not start with this luxurious mac & cheese?

It only requires perfectly cooked pasta with a rich cream sauce and an indulgent helping of cheese! Wow!

4. Cheesy Gnocchi Bake

This crowd-pleasing cheesy gnocchi bake needs just one skillet and about 30 minutes.

It’s rustic, packed with meaty and cheesy flavors, and fully loaded with little potato dumplings.

Use store-bought gnocchi to save on time, and serve with a crisp garden salad.

5. Velveeta Mac and Cheese

I always whip out this super easy Velvetta recipe when cooking for a crowd.

It never fails to impress, and mac & cheese is a hit with kids and grown-ups alike.

Tossing cubes of Velveeta into the mix creates an insanely cream cheese sauce without heavy cream.

It’s so easy and tastes just like grandma’s.

6. Asparagus Fontina Tart

Are you looking to impress at your next holiday party? This asparagus fontina tart is worth checking out!

Its incredibly flaky phyllo crust and bright green finish taste like something from a French bakery.

Fontina cheese is naturally buttery and nutty and perfectly pairs with roasted asparagus.

It’s not only tasty, but it looks impressive served up on a platter.

7. Oven Baked Cheesy Potatoes

This side dish is easy to whip up on a busy weeknight and never fails to outshine the main course.

Simple roasted red potatoes drenched in melty cheesy are about as good as it gets.

Just be sure to roast the potatoes, so they get nice and crispy. That way, they’ll keep their bite under all that mozzarella.

8. Million-Dollar Dip

Thick, creamy, and loaded with salty goodness, this cheesy dip is a must-make.

It’s full of mayo, cheddar, crumbled bacon, slivered almonds, and tangy green onions.

Every bite is rich and cool with plenty of fun texture. Serve it with crackers, and it’ll melt in your mouth.

9. Cheesy Mashed Potatoes with Bacon and Chives

What’s better than a loaded baked potato? Classic mashed potatoes with a ton of cheese, bacon, and chives!

Whether you need a way to spice up leftover mashed potatoes or you want to impress at your next potluck, you can’t beat this easy dish.

10. Big Mac Salad – Cheeseburger Salad

Put away those sesame seed buns- you won’t need them.

If you want all of the addictive goodness of a Big Mac (sans the diet-destroying calories), this simple salad is an excellent alternative.

It infuses all of the classic Big Mac ingredients of lettuce, cheese, beef, and veggies in one bowl.

As always, you can’t forget the not-so-secret sauce! It’s a blend of mayo, pickles, mustard, smoked paprika, and a sweetener of choice.

11. Sweetie Pie’s Mac and Cheese

Locals in St. Louis will implore you to try Sweetie Pie’s famous mac & cheese. And they’ll watch happily as you swoon!

Luckily, if you can’t make Sweeties in person, it’s simple to replicate right at home.

The secret to this impossibly addictive mac & cheese dish is evaporated milk for extra flavor and creaminess.

You’ll also use four types of cheese (Velveeta, Colby, Monterey Jack, and sharp cheddar), making it beyond sinful.

12. Jalapeño Popper Dip

Jalapeño poppers are great but impossibly tedious to make at home. So, why not simplify things?

This dip infuses everything you love about jalapeño poppers- cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, and jalapeños – without all the prep work.

Homemade Cheddar Bay Biscuits

13. Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Is there anything more comforting and delicious than a warm biscuit smothered in butter?

Not really. But if you’re making biscuits, it really should be these fluffy, cheesy cheddar bay beauties.

They’re so scrumptious, you’ll want them at every meal!

14. Skillet Pizza Dip

Cheesy, hot, and fully loaded with pizza flavors, this skillet dip is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

It looks (and tastes!) like a classic pizza, only in dip-form.

Use prepackaged dinner rolls for a tear and share crust, and make the irresistible dip from mayo, pizza sauce, and plenty of mozzarella cheese. Yum!

Million Dollar Dip

15. Paula Deen Pimento Cheese Recipe

I can’t recommend this dip enough. It’s rich, creamy, cheesy, lightly spicy, tangy, and flavor-packed to the brim!

The heat comes from the pimentos, but it’s not overwhelming.

Wait – what are pimentos? They’re just a type of small, mild pepper. Yes, they have a little heat, but it won’t blow your taste buds off.

16. Baked Brie with Honey and Sage

Baked brie is the perfect dish to serve at your next holiday party. It’s basically a self-contained dip that’s nothing but pure, rich, flavorful cheese.

Brie is delightfully buttery, and while it’s yummy on its own, it’s extra special with some sage on top.

Serve it with crusty bread and sea salt crackers.

17. Applebee’s Three Cheese Chicken Penne

Are you looking for a rich, indulgent, and kid-approved dinner? Give this chicken and cheese pasta a whirl!

You’ll pair grilled chicken with tender pasta and plenty of cheese (mozzarella, Parmesan, and Provolone).

Plus, there’s a heavenly Alfredo sauce that’s begging to be licked off the plate.

18. Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Jazz up your next meatloaf with everyone’s favorite ingredient – cheese!

This tastes like a decadent, meaty cheeseburger, sans the carb-heavy bun, of course.

The best part of this recipe is that it isn’t bogged down with a ton of ingredients and is so simple to make on a busy weeknight.

19. Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread

You can’t go wrong with monkey bread for any occasion. But this cheesy delight is especially welcome at parties.

And while it looks complicated, this recipe is surprisingly easy, thanks to the pre-made biscuit dough.

20. Cheesecake Factory Pumpkin Cheesecake

There’s a reason people wait in line for the Cheesecake Factory – their desserts are insanely rich and so indulgent it borders on sinful.

That said, they’re a little expensive. So if you want to save a few bucks, try this copycat recipe.

The whole thing costs less than a slice in the restaurant, and it’ll be a hit at your holiday dinner.

21. Pimento Cheese Crackers

Making crackers at home is easy, and these pimento cheese crackers work with just about anything.

Crunchy crackers never disappoint if you want to spruce up a charcuterie board or need something salty before bed.

The pimento cheese spread is just the cherry on top!

22. Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Start your day with something meaty, cheese, and super soft! These are so good, you’ll want the whole batch to yourself.

Choose whatever sausage you prefer, and start with soft cream cheese, so it mixes well.

Roll the filling in pre-made crescent rolls and bake until golden, creamy, and flaky. Delish!

23. Cheesy Cauliflower Breadsticks

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that cauliflower is the new “it” vegetable.

It’s ideal for soups, low-carb “potatoes,” tacos, and, yes, breadsticks!

This recipe is perfect for anyone hoping to cut carbs. But be warned, there’s still plenty of cheese in the mix – so it’s not healthy.

It’s just healthier – and I’m okay with that!

24. Strawberry Cheesecake Lasagna

Cheesecake and lasagna aren’t two words often seen together. But here we are.

For this tasty dessert, you’ll make a faux lasagna with crackers, cheesecake filling, and lots of fresh berries.

It requires no cooking and whips together in a flash for a tart, sweet, and creamy summer treat.

25. Cheesy Taco Pasta

Can’t decide between Italian and Mexican for dinner? Why not have both!

Pairing pasta noodles with Mexican spices and taco fillings are a great way to turn taco Tuesday on its head.

It’s similar to Hamburger Helper (and just as easy!) and comes together in under 30 minutes.

26. Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie

I always keep a box of Bisquick in my cupboards for last-minute dinners and desserts.

And this cheeseburger pie is a favorite in my house.

You’ll combine ground beef with shredded cheese and Bisquick to make something a little like quiche.

27. Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Scalloped potatoes are a fabulous side dish for any meal, though I prefer them with grilled chicken or steak.

For maximum flavors, pair potatoes and cheese with a can of cream of mushroom soup

The mushroom soup offers robust, earthy flavors to cut through the richness (chicken soup works too).

28. Grilled Cheese Sandwich

It’s not a cheese party without grilled cheese sandwiches!

While there are tons of variations, simple is often best. That means thick white bread with plenty of cheese.

I like mature cheddar and a little mozzarella, so it’s extra gooey.

29. Sticky Mango Paneer Kebabs

One bite of this colorful, textural, and flavorful dish, and you’ll never want plain old chicken kebabs again.

I mean, just look at it!

The marinated and grilled paneer. The bright and zippy onions. The vibrant mango and onion sauce…I’m drooling already!

30. Oreo Cheesecake Bites

The only problem with Oreo cheesecake is that it’s easy to get carried away and eat the whole thing.

Plus, it’s a pain to slice and plate at parties.

So, try these cheesecake bites instead. They’re perfect for mingling, affordable, and oh-so-creamy.

31. Bacon-Goat Cheese Jalapeño Poppers

Classic jalapeño poppers never disappoint. But swapping out the usual cheddar for goat cheese lifts them to new heights!

Goat cheese is slightly tangy, creamy, and tart and plays so well with the smokiness of the bacon and the spice of jalapeños.

They’re a must-try if you can’t get enough goat cheese.

32. 6-Inch Cheesecake

That 6-inch pie pan doesn’t get the love that it deserves.

So, the next time you need a small dessert, try this little cheesecake. It’s just as tasty, but you don’t have to worry about leftovers.

King Ranch Chicken scooped on a spoon

33. King Ranch Chicken Casserole

Just look at that impossibly cheesy top! Isn’t it pretty?

This chicken casserole is a showcase of incredible flavor. From the chicken and peppers to the soups and cheese, it’s a hit every time.

Just be sure to sprinkle extra cheese on top and broil until it’s golden and bubbly.

34. Pigs in a Blanket (With Cheese!)

Everyone in the room lights up at the sight of pigs in a blanket. But how can you possibly improve upon this classic?

By adding cheese, silly!

Before you roll up those little piggies, add a layer of cheese. It’ll melt into the blanket and become deliciously gooey.

35. Baked Brie Appetizer with Cranberries and Walnuts

You have to try this baked brie recipe for your next party.

It infuses rich fall-inspired ingredients such as cranberries and walnuts. The chewy, tart berries pair so well with the buttery nuts and tangy cheese.

Garnish with a sprig of rosemary, and serve with crunchy crackers.

Homemade Tiktok Feta Pasta

36. TikTok Feta Pasta

TikTok is a wealth of incredible recipes and ideas. Seriously, I learn so much!

But nothing can surpass this insanely cheesy pasta dish. Made with a whole block of feta, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and spices, it’s quick and to die for

Cherry tomatoes are a must for their lightly sweet flavor. I also like to add cipollini onions and whole garlic cloves, so they roast and confit in the oil.

37. Pimento Cheese Brunch Grits

Step aside, bacon and eggs, because these cheesy pimento grits are the new must-have breakfast in town!

If you think you don’t like grits, try them with Parmesan, cream cheese, and pimentos.

Serve with an over-easy egg and your favorite salty breakfast meat.

38. Spinach and Cheese Hand Pies

Who doesn’t get excited at the mere mention of savory hand pies?

They’re the perfect appetizer (or afternoon snack) and are deceptively easy to make.

Pair creamy spinach and cheese into pre-made flaky puff pastry, and bake until golden and fragrant. How easy is that?

39. Fall Apple Cider Cheese Fondue

Any cheese lover knows that fondue is the cream of the crop. The best of the best. The pièce de résistance of cheese recipes.

But instead of just melting some Gouda, you have to try this apple cider recipe.

A blend of broth, cider, smoked Gouda, Swiss cheese, garlic, and black pepper, this is something you’ll crave again and again.

French Onion Soup

40. Julia Child’s French Onion Soup

French onion soup is one of my all-time favorite starters. It’s rich, full of incredible meaty flavors, and super hearty.

The key ingredients are onions (obviously), beef broth, and cheese!

Without the beef broth, it doesn’t have the right depth. And without the cheese on top? Well, it’s a travesty!

41. Mexican Chicken with Cheese Sauce

Do you want to make restaurant-inspired Mexican chicken at home? I’ve got just the recipe!

Mexican roasted chicken and rice is super tasty. But when you add an insanely cheesy sauce on top, it’s totally addictive.

Be sure to serve leftover cheese sauce with tortilla chips for a late-night snack!

42. Cheese Dumplings

These aren’t your grandma’s dumplings.

Ukrainian cheese dumplings (lazy varenik) are a terrific main course or side dish that’s easy to whip up in a jiffy.

They incorporate creamy ricotta cheese and taste similar to pierogis.

43. Beer Cheese Soup

Nothing warms your cold bones quite like this beer cheese soup.

The beer provides robust earthy notes that pair well with bacon, cream, and sharp cheddar cheese.

It’s so rich and creamy that you only need a small bowl – especially when paired with a crusty baguette.

44. Cheesy Loaded Nacho Tater Tots

Whenever I’ve had a bad week, I bust out the tater tots! They’re so tasty and full of comforting nostalgia that I forget all my woes.

This super easy bake has all of the flavors of nachos with a yummy tater tot base.

Serve as a main dinner dish to get you through the week, or bring it to your next potluck.

45. Cheesy Chicken Fajita Casserole

This cheesy chicken fajita casserole checks all the dinnertime boxes. It’s easy, it’s cheesy, and everyone will love it.

Just add your fajita staples into a casserole dish, and bake until it’s golden and bubbly. It’s so simple.

You can serve it alone or toast fajita shells on the stove as a killer filling.

46. Cheesy Eggplant Casserole

With enough cheese, even eggplant-haters will love this cheesy dish.

Top meaty eggplant with marinara and plenty of mozzarella cheese and spices for a delicious carb-free dinner.

It has all the flavors of a cheese pizza, minus carb-heavy crust. How can you beat that?

47. Cacio E Pepe Recipe

Cacio e pepe translates to ‘cheese and pepper.’ It also means, ‘I need to make dinner, but I’m short on ingredients.’

Calling for just four ingredients, this is just what you need on busy weeknights. And it’s crazy delicious!

48. Cheesy Corn Chowder

With so many flavorful ingredients, this corn chowder is a hearty meal your family will beg for.

It infuses bacon for smokiness, a hint of sweetness from corn, and three different types of cheeses (cream cheese, cheddar, and sharp cheddar).

For heat, add cayenne pepper and garnish with red pepper flakes.

49. Three Cheese Stuffed Shells

Stuffed shells are always a fan favorite at dinner time. They’re the perfect hearty weeknight meal when you need something filling yet simple.

They earn a double-punch of cheese with ricotta and gooey mozzarella.

Drizzle your favorite marinara on top and bake until golden and delicious. Serve with plenty of garlic bread to mop up the sauce, and you’re good to go!

50. Ricotta Gnudi

If you like gnocchi, just wait until you try this creamy ricotta gnudi!

You’ll make a simple dough using ricotta cheese, egg yolks, flour, and salt. Then it’s the same method as gnocchi: roll, cut, boil.

These are creamier, cheesier, and way more decadent than potato dumplings. Plus, they’re lower in carbs. Woo hoo!
