Watermelon vodka is smooth, fruity, and invigorating.

But depending on the brand, it can be full of natural flavors or synthetic, so check the labels to be sure.

I enjoy Absolut because it’s natural and sweet, with just a hint of strawberry in the background.

And if you can’t find watermelon vodka, it’s super easy to make your own! In fact, I prefer it because you control the flavor.

When you have a bottle chilled, try these watermelon vodka drinks!

17 Vodka Watermelon Cocktails and Drink Ideas

1. Watermelon Sour Spritzer

Sour cocktails usually feature lots of lemon. So while they’re balanced, they’re definitely lip-puckering!

But this watermelon sour spritzer calls for Watermelon Pucker® Sweet & Sour Schnapps.

And as the name suggests, it’s sweet and sour, with just enough of the latter to get your juices flowing.

Use watermelon vodka to brighten the flavor even more, and serve with Watermelon Sour Patch for a fun garnish.

2. Watermelon Mint Cocktail

Watermelon and mint come together in this cooler to make one of the most refreshing drinks of the summer.

And it’s so easy to make, too!

Watermelon juice is responsible for the color and bulk or the flavor. Meanwhile, you’ll need to make mint-infused simple syrup to give it that refreshing finish.

It’s super quick and much more pleasant than having mint leaves in your glass.

Top it up with a splash of watermelon vodka and club soda, and you’ll be in cocktail heaven.

Serve with cubed watermelon and fresh mint for a beautiful presentation.

3. Vodka Watermelon Cooler

Don’t let the name fool you, this is far from a wine cooler. In fact, it’s a vodka-forward watermelon cocktail deserving of a beautiful brunch.

Or, serve this boozy sweet, and tart drink at your next BBQ and watch as it disappears!

Blend up fresh watermelon to make the watermelon juice. Then stir in plenty of watermelon vodka and layer them in a glass with sour apple pucker.

4. Watermelon Martini

Fresh and fruity, this pretty pink drink is nothing like the original vodka martini.

The lime juice and orange liqueur offer citrusy undertones, while the sweet and chilled watermelon juice keeps things bright.

Shake all of the ingredients together with ice, and strain into a chilled glass. Easy peasy.

5. Watermelon Cucumber and Lime Cocktail

Enjoy happy hour at home with this gorgeous watermelon and cucumber cocktail.

It’s crisp, refreshing, and downright irresistible, thanks to the mix of watermelon, lime, cucumber vodka, and simple syrup.

Of course, we’re talking about watermelon vodka today, so be sure to add some of that too!

It’ll make it extra boozy and extra delish.

6. Cucumber & Watermelon Mojitos

I know, I know: traditional mojitos are made with white rum. But I promise you won’t miss it in this cucumber and watermelon twist.

Start by pureeing the watermelon and cucumber in a blender. Then, be sure to strain out any of the leftover pulp because you only want the juice!

Next, muddle mint leaves in lime juice to extract the oils.

Finally, add the juices and vodka to a shaker, and serve over ice. Yum!

7. Watermelon Kiwi Prosecco Punch

There’s nothing better on a warm Sunday than a BBQ with friends and a big bowl of this watermelon and kiwi punch.

And you don’t even need a punch bowl. Just kiwis, watermelon juice, vodka, and Prosecco, with a few cute glasses, of course.

Puree watermelon and kiwis, then strain the pulp. Stir in the vodka, and top with Prosecco before serving.

8. Hippie Juice Cocktail

Not only does this one have a fun name, but it’s super pretty and tasty to boot.

And between the watermelon vodka, triple sec, coconut rum, and peach schnapps, it’s sweet, fruity, and tropical.

You’ll add pink lemonade mix for color and a zippy flavor, along with plenty of fresh fruit to make the drink pop.

If you’re not a fan of coconut rum, substitute it with strawberry vodka instead!

9. Strawberry Watermelon Rosé Sangria

Strawberry and watermelon go hand in hand. Both are colorful, sweet, juicy, and summery.

And both are insanely delicious with a bit of rosé!

Use watermelon vodka to really boost the flavor. And don’t be shy with the fresh fruits.

You’ll add orange liqueur for a nice citrusy finish and just a dash of honey or simple syrup to ensure it’s sweet.

Fill the glasses with sparkling water, and it’s good to go!

10. Watermelon Frosé Cocktail

If you haven’t had a frosé yet, let this be your sign to hop on the trend!

Frosé is basically an alcoholic slushy made with wine that’s perfect for brunch with the girls.

And it’s especially scrumptious with watermelon, honey, mint, and lime in the mix.

Blend fresh watermelon and honey to make the simple syrup, then add watermelon chunks, rosé wine, watermelon vodka, and ice.

Let the machine do its thing, and soon enough, you’ll have a thick and icy beverage.

Serve in stemless wine glasses with a sprig of mint and a wedge of watermelon. Delish!

11. Skinny Watermelon Vodka Spritzer

Many cocktails are overly sugary and loaded with empty calories. So the next time you want to indulge without the guilt, try this skinny spritzer!

It’s got five low-calorie ingredients and is as refreshing as ever.

La Croix watermelon kiwi is the perfect bubbly addition, and I find it’s more than sweet enough. However, you can add Stevia if you like.

That said, this recipe calls for plain vodka. So if you swap that out for watermelon vodka, it should be more than enough sweetness.

And if you want even more watermelon flavor, add watermelon juice to the mix.

12. Watermelon Vodka Limeade

If you like lime more than lemon, you’ll love this boozy limeade recipe.

It’s citrusy and sweet, and thanks to the splash of alcohol, it’s just what you need for relaxing by the pool.

You’ll use that same watermelon syrup from before, plus zippy lime juice and watermelon vodka.

And if you prefer it bubbly, go ahead and add club soda, sparkling water, or citrus seltzer.

13. Watermelon Cosmo

The OG cosmo calls for vodka, cranberry, juice, lime, triple sec or Cointreau, and simple syrup (if the cranberry juice is unsweetened).

It’s colorful, tart, and just as popular today as it was back when Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda made them famous.

But if you find it a little too tart, take this version for a spin.

It’s got the same base – Cointreau, lime juice, cranberry juice, and simple syrup – but the watermelon vodka lightens it up with some fruity fun.

14. Pacific Scorpion

A scorpion drink often features tropical and fruity flavors, along with rum and vodka, to make it boozy.

This specific version requires guava, pineapple, watermelon, and passionfruit, so every sip is heavenly.

There’s coconut rum and orange vodka to keep things tropical. And then I suggest adding watermelon vodka instead of regular.

Either way, it’s a fun drink to serve at your next party!

15. Pink Vodka Watermelon Lemonade

Pink lemonade is great. But this watermelon vodka lemonade is beyond amazing!

It’s sweet, citrusy, and features fun herbal notes from thyme, honey, and mint.

Again, use watermelon vodka for the best flavor, and top the glass with bubbles. Delish!

16. Watermelon Moscow Mule

I always love the classic Moscow Mule. Until I tried it with dark rum (aka the Dark & Stormy), and that version quickly became my go-to.

But since then, I’ve loved finding new variations.

They all start the same – with ginger beer, vodka, and lime juice. But it’s so easy to make it your own.

This one uses watermelon puree and watermelon vodka. So there’s a lot of sweetness over the warmth of the ginger beer.

Strain the cocktail into a copper mug with ice, and enjoy.

17. Homemade Watermelon Infused Vodka

This list would be totally incomplete without your own watermelon vodka recipe.

And you won’t believe how easy it is to make!

Start with super fresh, ripe watermelon. Taste it first to make sure it’s as sweet as possible.

Cut it into chunks and remove any seeds, then pack it into a jar or glass container with a lid that seals.

Pour some decent vodka over the top and let it sit in the fridge for about a week.

That’s it! It’s ready to go.
