There’s no need to go out and spend money when you have these vodka martini recipes on hand.
You only need a handful of ingredients, and you’ll be sipping pretty in no time.
You know what they say, “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere,” so don’t wait to pour yourself something boozy!
And between the classics and the lemon drops, these vodka martini recipes are way more versatile than you think.
So make one, or make them all – I won’t judge!
Classic Dry Vodka Martini Cocktail and More!
1. Classic Vodka Martini
Great martinis come from the simplest of recipes. And this blend of good vodka, dry Vermouth, olives, and ice is about as simple as it gets.
Shake it up if you like, but the pros say it’s best to stir Mr. Bond’s favorite nightcap. You’ll bruise the alcohol if you shake it with ice (who knew?!).
For the best chilled drink, put your martini glass in the freezer before mixing. Then, garnish with the olives, and enjoy!
2. Perfect Cosmopolitan
If you’re looking for that iconic drink your favorite New York City gals love, this is it.
And yes, the perfect cosmo is something you can make at home!
Believe it or not, these pretty pink drinks are super easy to make. Just mix up some vodka, Triple Sec, cranberry juice, and lime juice.
Now, purists will say this isn’t a martini. That name is usually reserved for a drink with vodka and Vermouth.
But it’s always served in a martini glass, and it does contain vodka, so…we’ll give it a pass!
(Full disclosure, there are many more drinks here that probably aren’t textbook martinis. But when they taste this good, who cares?!)
3. Best Lemon Drop Martini
I have to admit, I’m a sucker for a well-made lemon drop. The combination of sweet and tart is perfect any day of the year.
And luckily, this easy lemon drop is so easy to make at home! Just shake up citrus vodka, Cointreau, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
My favorite part of a lemon drop martini is the sugar-rimmed glass. That and the pretty little lemon twist for a touch of sophistication!
4. Espresso Martini
Who needs dessert when you can have this rich and creamy coffee-infused martini?
A key ingredient in this recipe is, of course, espresso! You can easily brew frothy espresso in your standard coffee pot, so don’t fret.
(Check out my post “What is Espresso?” to learn more)
Shake it with Kahlua, vodka, and simple syrup to create a luxurious froth. Then pour directly into the glass, garnish as desired, and enjoy!
5. Chocolate Vodka Martini
It’s time you indulge yourself in the deliciousness of a rich and creamy chocolate martini!
With Valentine’s day just around the corner, it’s the perfect excuse, too.
What’s not to swoon over with only three ingredients? Yep! Just vodka, Baileys, and Creme de Cacao are all you’ll need.
For the full effect, dip the top of the glasses in melted chocolate before serving.
The recipe calls for shaking with ice, but they’re tasty at room temperature, too!
6. Cranberry Martini
They say cranberries are a winter or holiday fruit, but I could drink these any day of the year.
I promise, they’re so good, you won’t want to wait for Christmas!
Triple Sec and simple syrup add the perfect amount of citrus to pair with cranberry juice. Meanwhile, the vodka brings plenty of warming booze.
For the most festive party, garnish your glasses with sugared cranberries. But be warned: your guests will want you to keep pouring!
7. Best Pomegranate Martini
Okay, I love pomegranates, but peeling those pods is just too much work! Thankfully you can get all that flavor with pomegranate juice instead!
In a shaker filled with ice, combine equal parts vodka and pomegranate juice. Then a splash of Cointreau, lemon juice, and simple syrup and give her a shake!
Garnish with a lemon peel for a bit of extra fresh lemon flavor. Easy peasy!
8. Pear Martini with Elderflower Liqueur
If you’re on the hunt for pear vodka cocktails, you just found one of the best!
Trust me, this pear and elderflower martini is a thing of beauty.
It’s got the perfect amount of sweetness in a refreshing martini. And the elderflower liqueur is the perfect partner for pear vodka.
Just shake it up with some ice and simple syrup, and sip responsibly!
9. Key Lime Martini
I can’t be the only person dreaming of tropical islands in these chilly winter months!
This martini is my ticket to those islands, and it’s one of my go-to summer vodka cocktails.
For these martinis, you’ll put the lime in the coconut and shake it all up! Key lime and cream of coconut, that is, along with vodka and simple syrup.
The crushed Graham Crackers add the pie vibes, if that’s what you’re looking for. Or add a simple lime wedge and enjoy!
10. Raspberry Martini
Summer drinks deserve fresh berries. And what’s better than an easy and sweet raspberry martini on a hot afternoon?
Whip up these martinis with raspberry simple syrup made from scratch.
You just need to boil together raspberries, sugar, and water. Then strain out any chunks or seeds before using.
The raspberry syrup brings a wallop of fruity and sweet flavor that’s beautifully balanced by the vodka and lemon juice.
11. Orange Martini
If you love oranges, stop what you’re doing and check out this recipe! It’s similar to a lemon drop, but with oranges in place of lemon.
So it’s ideal for anyone who likes citrus but isn’t a fan of sour.
If you have orange juice, vodka, and Triple Sec on hand, you’re ready to make up these martinis!
Pour it into your favorite martini glasses and garnish with an orange slice. Are these the new screwdriver? I think so!
12. Strawberry Martini
Grab your blender and fresh fruit because this gorgeous cocktail is calling your name!
The flavors of summer are here for a sweet and simple strawberry martini everyone will love.
Shake strawberry puree with vodka, simple syrup, Triple Sec, and lemon juice.
Rim your glasses with lemon juice and sugar for a little extra sweet and sour. Enjoy responsibly!
13. Cranberry Lemon Drop Martini
I once read that drinking alcohol with cranberry juice makes for less of a hangover.
I’m not sure of the validity of that statement, but who cares with drinks like this?
This recipe has all of the deliciousness of a lemon drop with a twist of cranberry. That’s down to the cranberry-infused simple syrup!
If you’re entertaining, don’t skip out on the frosted cranberries. They’re beautiful garnish and a delicious treat with the drink!
