You take care of the games and the booze, and I’ll be in charge of the desserts.

From heart-shaped pies to wedding cookies to champagne popsicles, these desserts will seal the success of your event.

I won’t lie, some of these desserts are a bit of a challenge to make. (I’m looking at you, macarons!) But they’re all worth the effort.

Make your best friend feel extra loved on her bridal shower with these delightful desserts.

1. Heart Shaped Strawberry Hand Pie

Let’s get the show on the road with these outrageously adorable hand pies!

They’re shaped like a heart, so obviously, they’re perfect for the occasion.

Besides the romantic vibe, these hand pies also give off the most wonderful combination of tastes and textures – flaky and buttery on the outside, and sweet, warm, and ooey gooey on the inside.

I’ll definitely toast to that.

Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

2. Chocolate Chip Cookies

Serving chocolate chip cookies at a bridal shower may seem too plain, but trust me, these aren’t your average cookies.

These are a copycat of the famous Doubletree chocolate chip cookies, which are large and chunky, and overloaded with chocolate chips and walnuts.

Send the happy couple this recipe and they’re guaranteed to live happily ever after.

3. Mini-Decadent Chocolate Ganache Bundt Cakes

How to make a bundt cake even more charming? Make it small! These individual-sized bundt cakes are absolutely appealing.

More importantly, they’re delicious. Mini-chocolate cakes are glazed with a decadent chocolate ganache.

Just like the bride and the groom, they’re the perfect match.

4.  Petit Fours

Petit fours: they sound so fancy – and they are – but they’re surprisingly easy to make.

These bite-sized French cakes have layers of cream cheese cake filled with vanilla buttercream and jam.

Each square is coated entirely with chocolate, giving them that Insta-worthy appeal. They’re so good, it’s impossible to eat just one!

Fried Cinnamon Sugar Holes

5. Donuts

Are donuts the bride’s favorite dessert, but you have no time to make them from scratch? Bisquick is the solution.

These simplified donuts use Bisquick as the batter, so you don’t need to worry about dough kneading, resting, rolling, and all that jazz.

Instead, just focus on the array of toppings you can use to glam up these sweets! Sugar glaze, chocolate, peanut butter, caramel – anything goes.

6. Macarons

Show the bride how much you care by making macarons for her bridal shower!

Macarons are known in the culinary world as the cookies of doom. As heavenly as they are, these pastries are super finicky.

One tiny mistake can lead to a macaron disaster.

But don’t worry, because out of the many, many recipes I’ve tried, this one was successful.

7. Chocolate Cupcakes

These chocolate cupcakes may look simple, but wait until you take your first bite.

Light, fluffy, moist, and delicious – they’re everything a cupcake should be.

What I love about these cupcakes is that they’re impossible to mess up. I’ve baked these dozens of times, and they always turn out perfect.

With a simple chocolate buttercream frosting on top, these simple treats will be a guaranteed hit.

Strawberry Shortcake

8. Strawberry Shortcake

Besides love, you know what else is in the air? The sweet scent of these strawberry shortcakes, that’s what.

Soft and flaky biscuits are dressed with fresh strawberries and smothered with whipped cream.

It’s a light and airy dessert that’s perfect for a summer shower.

By the way, this recipe uses Bisquick to make the biscuits, so it couldn’t be simpler.

9. Mini-Chocolate Chess Pie

A chocolate chess pie is a southern pie with a creamy custard filling.

Instead of custard, though, you’ll switch things up a little and make a chocolate filling.

Also, instead of one regular-sized pie, you’ll make a ton of cupcake-sized ones. That way, every guest gets to enjoy their very own chess pie!

10. Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Nothing screams romance more than chocolate-covered strawberries.

They’re definitely fitting for the event, for sure, but they’re also very expensive.

The solution? Make them yourself. Chocolate-covered strawberries are ridiculously easy to make, I have no idea why they cost so much.

Just melt some chocolate in the microwave and dunk the strawberries in! It couldn’t be simpler.

Mexican Wedding Cookies

11. Mexican Wedding Cookies

Mexican wedding cookies are soft, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth shortbread cookies dusted with powdered sugar.

They’re perfect not just for weddings, but for any special occasion, as well.

First of all, the powdered sugar coating makes them so elegant. As for the flavor and texture, well, they definitely get an A+.

12. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownies

Take those basic brownies to a whole new level by adding strawberries into the picture.

Chocolate and strawberries really do belong together, and these confections are proof.

Brownies are topped with strawberry slices and covered with chocolate ganache.

They’re soft, chewy, and ooey-gooey, with a tart, fruity twist. I’ll say, “I do” to these brownies, any day.

Homemade Hershey's Chocolate Fudge

13. Chocolate Fudge

These fudge squares are ridiculously ooey-gooey and fudgy.

This may not be the simplest fudgy recipe out there, but it tastes just like how your grandma used to make them.

So, if your goal is to impress the bride and the guests, this is the way to go.

14. Vanilla Cupcakes

Believe me, there’s nothing vanilla about these vanilla cupcakes! They’re ridiculously soft, moist, and absolutely delightful.

If you’re not new to baking, you know very well how vanilla cupcakes tend to dry up fast.

That’s what makes these cupcakes stand out – they stay moist for days.

This is absolutely necessary because your guests will definitely want to take home some.

15. Strawberry Trifle

What I love about it is that it looks so intricate, as if you took forever in the kitchen to make it.

In reality, though, as stunning as it looks, all it takes is 35 minutes.

You won’t even need to bake at all. Just get your favorite pound cake from your local bakery. No one has to know.

Layer the cakes with pudding and sweetened strawberries for an extra special trifle for an extra special day.

Sugar Cookies

16. Sugar Cookies

These sugar cookies are chewy buttery, and insanely addictive. They look so plain, but they’re ridiculously delicious. I can’t get enough!

They’re already great as-is, but you can dress them up with sugar glaze, sprinkles, or ganache to make them more party-worthy.

That’s another thing I love about this dessert. It’s so easy to glam up.

17. Chocolate Truffle Hearts

How stinking cute are these truffle hearts, am I right? More importantly, they’re decadent and delicious.

I had an impression that truffles were such a challenging dessert to make, but I was wrong.

Did you know that truffles are just a combination of melted chocolate and cream? It’s so easy you can make them with your eyes closed.

Once you have the base ready, you’re free to have fun with the mixins and toppings. You can also form them into whatever shape you like!

Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream

18. Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cake is perfect for every occasion. Birthdays, weddings, Christmas – you can’t go wrong with this timeless dessert.

Who can say no to moist and fudgy chocolate cake frosted with chocolate ganache? This is as good as it gets.

If you’re a kitchen newbie, do not fret. This recipe only calls for one bowl and easy-to-follow steps.

19. Heart Cake Pops

For some reason, cake pops have lost their popularity over the recent years. Honestly, I have no idea why.

I love cake pops to death! I say bring them back.

In this recipe, Funfetti cake and vanilla buttercream frosting are mashed together, formed into hearts, and dipped into colored candy melts.

I think I’m in love.

They’re already pretty as they are, but you can add more oomph by dressing them up with chocolate, sprinkles, edible glitter, dragees, and whatever else you find in your cupboard.

Sliced Atomic Cake with Icing

20. Atomic Cake

Don’t let its simple exterior mislead you. Frosted with whipped cream, it does look basic from the outside. But wait until you have a slice.

This atomic cake is called atomic for a reason.

With three different cake layers and fillings, this cake is definitely the bomb!

There are even slices of bananas and strawberries in there, too, because why not?

21. Peach Prosecco Popsicles

You had me at peach. These popsicles are wonderfully sweet, fruity, and so refreshing. It’s a perfect summer shower treat.

Why drink champagne when you can eat it? Combined with sweet peaches, it makes for such a fun and boozy sweet.

You’ll be drunk in love before you know it.

Mini Cheesecake Bites with Cherries

22. Mini-Cheesecakes

These bite-sized cheesecakes have a vanilla wafer crust, cream cheese filling, and whatever fruit topping your heart desires.

That’s the awesome thing about making individual-sized desserts.

You can customize each treat with its own toppings – strawberry, blueberry, crushed candies, what have you.

This way, your guests will have an array of toppings to choose from. Neat!

23. Strawberry Cupcakes

Light and airy cupcakes are frosted with sweet and creamy buttercream. They’re delicious, to say the least.

These cupcakes also have chunks of strawberries in the batter and the buttercream frosting. There are strawberries everywhere, and I love it.

Also, look how pretty! Their pink hue gives them that romantic aura.

Churros with Chocolate Dip

24. Churro Bites

Take your guests to Disneyland without actually going to Disneyland! These churros are the key.

They’re crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and phenomenal in each bite.

The cinnamon-sugar coating gives them a lovely touch of sweetness and spice.

Dipped in hot chocolate or caramel, one bite will make you feel like you’re in the happiest place on earth.

Chocolate Whoopie Pies with Vanilla Cream Cheese

25. Whoopie Pies

Ending this list with a bang are these incredible whoopie pies. Soft, cake-like cookies are filled with a sweet and fluffy mallow-like center.

It’s hard to tell whether they’re sandwiches, cakes, cookies, or pies, but it doesn’t matter. Whatever you call them, they’ll surely be a hit.
