Ingredients

  • 4 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1/2 cup salted butter

  • green food coloring, a few drops (will depend on the type/brand)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

  • 4 -6 cups cornflake cereal

  • cinnamon candies (such as Red Hots)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and mini marshmallows.
  • Stir until smooth, add the vanilla and almond extracts, then the green food coloring. Stir well and add more food coloring, as needed.
  • Add 4 cups of cereal and gently mix until well coated. Add more cereal, as needed.
  • Spoon portions of the cookie mixture on the baking sheet and gently create a hole in the center with a butter knife.
  • Cut the candies in half and place them in a cluster on the wreaths before they set.
  • Cool to room temperature for 30-60 minutes. Then, serve and enjoy!
