Elevate your Christmas party with these cherry almond jello shots! Indulge in layers of tangy cherry, smooth vanilla, and a hint of amaretto sophistication.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet cherry-flavored gelatin

  • 3/4 cup boiling water

  • 1 cup cherry vodka, chilled

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 1 3/4 cups cold milk

  • 2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur

  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Fresh cranberries and superfine sugar, for garnish

  • Equipment:
  • Small plastic shot cups

Instructions

  • Dissolve cherry gelatin in 3/4 cup of boiling water until fully dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then stir in the cherry vodka.
  • Pour the mixture into shot cups, filling up to one-third. Refrigerate until the jello is set, about 1-2 hours.
  • Whisk together the pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens, then stir in the amaretto liqueur.
  • Carefully spoon the pudding over the set jello layer, filling the cups up to two-thirds full. Chill until the pudding layer sets, about 1 hour.
  • Beat the whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until medium peaks form.
  • Prepare the garnish. Roll damp cranberries in superfine sugar and let them dry.
  • Once the pudding layer is set, pipe or spoon the whipped cream on top of each cup. Garnish with sugared cranberries.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use a food syringe or small pourer for precise layers without disturbing the set jello.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace the vodka and amaretto with cherry and almond extracts.
