Sure, Christmas cookies are lovely, but there’s something so irresistible about the taste of fudge.

All of these Christmas fudge recipes are festive, sweet, and perfect for sharing.

But I won’t tell if you keep them to yourself.

Festive Fudge for Christmas

1. Hot Chocolate Fudge Recipe

This recipe is a Christmas triple threat.

There’s a layer of rich, dark chocolate fudge topped with creamy white chocolate fudge. And if you stopped there, this would be a delicious Christmas treat.

But it wouldn’t be hot chocolate without mini-marshmallows, right? Pour them over the warm fudge and press slightly so they’ll stick.

2. Gingerbread Swirl Fudge

How amazing does this gingerbread fudge look?

I love those swirls, and it was all I could do to not dive right in while it was still warm.

The best part is that these two flavors are made from one batch of white chocolate fudge. Just cut it in half and add some warm spices.

Finish with a light covering of these adorable gingerbread-themed sprinkles.

3. Candy Cane Fudge

This vanilla and peppermint fudge is equal parts sweet and fresh. It’s the perfect holiday treat, and it’s full of crushed candy canes for added crunch.

Unlike some minty fudge recipes that use peppermint extract (which can be overpowering), this one relies on the candy canes for flavor.

That makes it more subtle, but just as scrumptious.

Chocolate Fudge with Nuts

4. Microwave Fantasy Fudge

If you need a fudge recipe that’s quick and easy, this microwave fantasy fudge is the one for you.

All you’ll need are seven ingredients and about 10 minutes of prep.

Once it’s made, you can jazz it up in all kinds of ways. Try chopped peppermint bark, Christmas cookie chunks, or just festive sprinkles.

Stack of Salted Peanut Butter Fudge

5. Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Here’s another super quick microwave recipe. Only this time, it’s all about peanut butter.

It’s not too sweet, it’s velvety smooth, and it’s impossible to resist.

I usually top this one with chopped Reese’s cups. It’s not exactly holiday-themed, but it’s insanely good!

Homemade Dark Chocolate Fudge

6. Eagle Brand Fudge

Eagle brand makes some of the best condensed milk around.

So, it won’t come as a surprise to hear that this chocolate fudge recipe is always at the top of my list.

Since this calls for only two main ingredients (chocolate and condensed milk), you’ll want to splurge on something top-quality.

Cheap chocolate might not melt properly and can leave a greasy residue in your mouth.

7. Maple Walnut Fudge

Authentic maple syrup tastes like a sticky sweet blend of vanilla, caramel, and chewy prunes or dates.

It’s super complex and delicious, so be sure to get the good stuff (read: not cheap pancake syrup).

Since maple syrup is already sweet, you’ll use heavy cream to make this fudge along with buttery walnuts for excellent texture.

Remember that toasting the nuts will help release their natural oils and make the flavor more pronounced. It’s worth the extra step, I promise.

8. Cranberry Pistachio Fudge

As far as Christmas fudge recipes go, it doesn’t get more festive than this!

That creamy white fudge loaded with ruby red cranberries and green pistachios is just what you’ll need for this year’s holiday party.

You’ll get tart notes from the chewy berries and plenty of delicious crunch from the nuts.

Depending on how small you plan to cut the finished fudge, you might need to chop the cranberries.

If you want bite-sized pieces, whole berries might be too much.

Chocolate Fudge Brownies with Nuts

9. Nestle Fudge Recipe

Nestle knows a thing or two about chocolates and candy, so you can rest assured this recipe was tried and tested a hundred times over.

Using evaporated milk instead of condensed reduces the sweetness, which some people might prefer after so many Christmas treats.

But that doesn’t make it any less creamy or flavorful! There’s still plenty of chocolate in there to curb your sweet cravings.

10. Butter Pecan Fudge Recipe

Butter pecan is so rich and decadent, and this fudge is melt-in-your-mouth perfect.

You’ll need to toast the pecans to enhance their flavor, which can be done on the stovetop or in the oven.

For the fudge, you’ll use brown and white sugar for caramel notes and sweetness, respectively.

11. S’mores Fudge

This s’mores fudge is so good, you’ll want to make it year-round.

As much as I love a batch of silky smooth and sweet fudge, I often crave crunch and texture. This recipe delivers and then some!

Not only is it full of sticky pockets of marshmallow goodness, but there are also crushed graham crackers in every bite.

12. Snickerdoodle Fudge

Don’t let the pale color of this Snickerdoodle fudge fool you. One bite, and I know you’ll be hooked!

The fudge itself is super rich and creamy, but the cinnamon sugar topping is what will keep you coming back for more.

Sweet and Classic Christmas Cookie Fudge

13. Sugar Cookie Christmas Fudge

This easy-to-make sugar cookie fudge recipe has all the same great taste of cookies without any of the hassle.

You won’t even need to turn the oven on!

The key ingredient to achieving that signature flavor is a box of sugar cookie mix.

Top it with festive sprinkles and enjoy.

14. Easy Maple Walnut Fudge

Although this recipe is slightly more involved, it’s more than worth it once you taste it.

And when I say “more involved,” I just mean you’ll need to keep an eye on it more than normal.

The reason is you’ll make a maple syrup caramel of sorts, into which you’ll beat butter.

It would also help if you had a candy thermometer as the mix needs to reach 238 degrees Fahrenheit (114°C) in order to set.

15. Dark Chocolate, Almond & Cherry Fudge

Chocolate and cherry are a beautiful combination, as both are dark and intensely flavorful.

With its more bitter taste, this is more of a grown-up fudge (in my opinion). It’s very elegant looking, too, so it would fit nicely on any dessert table.

Remember to get dried cherries, as fresh have too much excess moisture.

16. Maple Bacon Fudge

Believe it or not, this dreamy fudge needs just three ingredients, one of which is a tub of pre-made maple bacon frosting.

I had a little trouble finding this since it’s limited edition, but it’s usually near the other baking supplies if you’re baking around the holidays.

When mixed with melted white chocolate, it becomes super fudgy and will cool and firm up enough to slice.

17. Christmas Oreo Fudge

Oreo winter edition cookies are seasonal. And though they’ll taste the same as the original, they’ll come with festive red filling and fun Christmas designs.

They’ll make this fudge pop, so it’s worth tracking some down. But of course, it will taste the same if all you have are regular Oreos.

Or, since the fudge itself is just vanilla, you could use any Oreo you like, such as golden, peanut butter, or even strawberry cheesecake!

18. Pralines and Cream Fudge Recipe

This recipe is a two-in-one dessert. You’ll get luscious white chocolate fun and dreamy southern pralines, all in one delicious bite.

Pralines are known for their caramel flavor and nutty crunch, and although this recipe calls for pecans, you could use anything from almonds to hazelnuts.

19. Easy Penuche Fudge Recipe (Brown Sugar Fudge)

Penuche, which comes from the Spanish word panocha, meaning “raw sugar,” is a delightful brown sugar fudge with lots of caramel flavor.

Traditional recipes used only brown sugar, butter, and milk, but this version takes it a step further, adding marshmallow Fluff for lightness and corn syrup for better stability.

You’ll also use evaporated milk to make this creamier than ever.

20. Caramel Apple Fudge

If you’re wondering how to incorporate juicy apples into fudge, fret not. You’ll use spice apple cider drink mix to get that signature taste.

First, you’ll make apple-infused white chocolate fudge, over which you’ll swirl caramel fudge.

It tastes like creamy apple candy, though I’ll bet it would be great with that cinnamon recipe from above, too.

21. Caramel Peanut Butter Pretzel Fudge

This fudge recipe is sweet, salty, crunchy, and smooth. So, it’s basically the whole package!

It all starts with yummy peanut butter and marshmallow fudge.

That’s dressed up with chopped Caramel Milky Way Bites or Rolos and peanut butter-filled pretzels.

22. Grinch Fudge

I think this is my favorite just because it’s insanely cute. I mean, look at those little hearts!

And the green is so fun. The kids will go nuts over this recipe.

It’s super simple and just made with white chocolate and condensed milk. However, you could add almond or peppermint extract if you want.

Just don’t add anything that might affect the color, like chocolate chips.

Also, the size you cut these will depend on the sprinkles you find. If they’re larger, you’ll need to cut bigger portions and vice versa.

23. Eggnog Fudge Recipe

Eggnog is rich, creamy, and quintessentially Christmas. So, if you need a sweet treat for the holidays, why not make the most of it?

After all, eggnog isn’t available all year.

If you’re a fan of the melted ice cream taste with warm spice and a light, boozy finish, this is the recipe to try.

24. Turtle Fudge

Turtle candies are the perfect pairing of chocolate and caramel, and they’ll often come with a crunch, nutty element too.

This fudge is no exception, using luscious soft caramel candies and pecans.

I find semi-sweet chocolate works well to balance the sweetness of the caramel, though dark chocolate would be great, too.

On the other hand, milk chocolate might be too sweet.

25. Pumpkin Fudge

In my house, pumpkin spice season lasts from the minute I get out my flannel shirts to when the thick sweaters get put away.

That puts Christmas smack in the middle!

This satisfying pumpkin fudge uses real pumpkin puree for color and taste, along with pumpkin spice.

As a result, it tastes just like a pumpkin latte and a slice of pie. What more could you ask for?
