Goat cheese is a super versatile ingredient.

It’s crumbly, creamy, and mildly salty. Plus that signature hint of tangy goodness I just can’t get enough of.

I usually have it on salad or pizza. But it makes a wonderful dip if you whip it with herbs and spices.

No matter what you do with it, these goat cheese recipes are all must-tries.

1. Blueberry Goat Cheese Scones

Let’s kick things off with these blueberry goat cheese scones, AKA, the perfect way to start the day.

When you have one (or two… or three) of these scones for breakfast, you know you’ll have a great day ahead.

Where do I even begin? These giant scones are super fluffy.

Each bite is filled with sweet blueberries and creamy goat cheese crumbles. These two together are a match made in heaven.

As if that wasn’t great enough, the scones are finished with a sweet blueberry glaze. Besides the shiny purple hue, it also tastes incredible.

2. Zucchini Goat Cheese Muffins

Infused with garlic powder, cumin powder, and dried oregano, these muffins are also earthy with a bit of a kick. They’re delicious, to say the least.

3. Baked Goat Cheese

If you’re craving the goodness of crispy and salty chips but are trying to cut back on calories, you can always rely on goat cheese.

These addictive baked goat cheese bites are truly phenomenal.

They’re golden brown and crispy on the outside and wonderfully salty and creamy on the inside.

Best of all, they’re so much healthier than the typical junk food.

From the look to flavor to nutritional value, they get an A+, for sure.

They’re delicious on their own, but for a hearty appetizer, serve them with crackers.

Or, add them to your favorite salad for a scrumptious side dish.

4. Puff Pastry Bites with Goat Cheese and Jam

Filled with goat cheese and jam, these puff pastry bites are a game-changing appetizer.

It’s a simple, 3-ingredient recipe, but the result is absolutely phenomenal.

The combination of buttery and flaky pastry, salty and creamy goat cheese, and sweet and thick jam is pure perfection.

Another great thing about these delights is that they’re so easy to customize.

Whatever type of jam works, so you can make as many variations you can think of!

5. Tomato Goat Cheese Pasta

I usually prefer meaty, tomato-based pasta sauces, but I won’t say no to this tomato goat cheese pasta, either.

First of all, look how delectable it is! You can already tell it’s loaded with umami goodness.

In this simple dish, the combination of tomato sauce and goat cheese creates a marvelous harmony of flavors.

It’s rich and creamy without being too overwhelming.

The addition of basil and other herbs also adds an earthy flavor that pairs wonderfully with the sweet tomatoes.

6. Herbed Goat Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

While chips and dips never disappoint, there’s nothing wrong with elevating your appetizer game, either.

If you’re looking to impress your guests, this recipe will do the trick.

Earthy mushrooms are stuffed with whipped goat cheese, seasoned with herbs, and finished with a sweet balsamic reduction.

Will you look at that beauty? The mushrooms are nice and chewy, the cheese light and creamy, and the glaze ties the flavors together wonderfully.

It all sounds so fancy, but wait until you see the recipe. It may not be as easy as opening a bag of chips, but anyone can pull it off.

7. Roasted Goat Cheese Stuffed Dates

Here’s another appetizer recipe that will surely knock your socks off. I can’t get enough of sweet and salty treats, so this one’s definitely a winner for me.

Sweet and chewy dates are stuffed with roasted goat cheese and toasted pine nuts. You guys, this appetizer is absolutely a must-try.

Stuffed date recipes usually call for bacon, but if you want the dates to really shine through, all you’ll need are goat cheese and pine nuts.

They complement the taste and texture of the dates really well, without overpowering their flavor.

8. Apple and Honey Goat Cheese Appetizer

This super healthy appetizer is surprisingly delicious. To be honest, I didn’t think I’d be this addicted to apples, goat cheese, and honey.

But the combination completely got me, hook, line, and sinker.

Thinly sliced apples are the perfect crunchy vessels for crumbly and creamy goat cheese.

Honey completes the trio, adding a lovely layer of sweetness and moisture.

It’s a basic, 3-ingredient recipe, but it’ll definitely blow your tastebuds away.

It proves, once again, that even the simplest things can also be the most amazing.

9. Honey, Walnut and Goat Cheese Crostini

I love serving crostini as an appetizer. These bite-sized morsels look super fancy, and they’re insanely delicious.

Savory crostini toppings are always a huge hit, but for this one, we’re going with sweet and salty.

Trust me, the combination of goat cheese, walnuts, and honey on top of toasted crostini is phenomenal.

It has the perfect balance of sweet, salty, creamy, and crunchy.

They’re so magical, they’ll disappear in the blink of an eye.

10. Roasted Garlic Goat Cheese Dip

When it comes to cheesy dips, cream cheese is usually king.

However, this recipe will take your dip to a whole new level of cheesy greatness without it.

With a blend of goat cheese, parmesan, garlic, tomatoes, herbs, and spices, you’ll create a perfect balance of flavors.

The combination of garlic and cheese is spot on.

Because goat cheese and parmesan aren’t overly rich, this dip is lighter than cream cheese-based ones.

The recipe is good for eight, but I won’t judge if you have it all to yourself.

11. Roasted Brussels and Goat Cheese

If you’re looking for a way to get kids to like Brussels sprouts, goat cheese is the answer. With these creamy crumbles, anything tastes greater.

Besides the cheese, though, these roasted Brussels sprouts are also loaded with walnuts and cranberries.

It’s the perfect side dish for the holidays!

12. Goat Cheese & Caramelized Onion Pizza

This isn’t your average pizza, folks. There’s no pepperoni, ham, and sausage crumbles, but expect nothing but greatness.

This veggie pizza has crispy thin flatbreads for the crust.

They’re loaded with creamy goat cheese and caramelized onions and finished with a drizzle of balsamic.

From the crunch to the sweet and salty flavor contrast, this pizza gets tens across the board.

The goat cheese and onions already taste spectacular, but the balsamic glaze brings out their flavors even more.

13. Goat Cheese Mushroom Gnocchi

I’m such a sucker for gnocchi. To me, it’s the best pasta there is.

Made with potatoes and flour, these dumplings have a soft, pillowy, and chewy texture you won’t get anywhere else.

As great as gnocchi is, what makes this dish extraordinary is the goat cheese mushroom cream sauce.

The cheese and heavy cream give the sauce richness, while the mushrooms add a meaty flavor.

It’s also garnished with mint to balance out the creaminess. It’s perfection in a bowl.

14. Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Goat Cheese & Sage

Roasting is the number one way I like to cook vegetables.

This cooking method releases the natural sugars in vegetables, giving them a richer, caramelized flavor.

It also toasts the veggies’ exterior, giving them a slightly crispy outer crust.

If this still doesn’t work with your kids, give this recipe a try.

Roasted sweet potatoes are brightened with creamy and tangy goat cheese. This simple addition is a total game changer!

15. Honey and Spice Goat Cheese Grilled Cheese

Goat cheese, red pepper flakes, and honey: when combined, these ingredients create a wonderful explosion of flavors.

Sweet, salty, and creamy with a bit of heat, it definitely checks all the boxes.

Turn it into a sandwich, and you’ll get one of the most spectacular grilled cheeses in the world! That’s no exaggeration.

This recipe is so forgiving, you’re free to increase or reduce the measurements to suit your taste.

If you’re as obsessed with cheese as I am, feel free to add as much as you like.

16. Roasted Butternut Squash with Goat Cheese and Pomegranate

It’s vibrant, colorful, and oh so delicious.

Cubes of roasted butternut squash are made even more delicious with pomegranate seeds, rosemary, and of course, goat cheese.

I mean, look how beautiful the colors are!

The red pomegranate seeds, white cheese, and green rosemary look so stunning on that orange squash background. It makes this dish absolutely holiday-worthy.

More importantly, the flavor and texture combinations are also on point. It’s gluten-free and vegetarian, to boot. What more can you ask for?

17. Goat Cheese Tomato Galette

A galette is a French pastry that’s basically a flat fruit pie.

For this recipe, though, there are no fruits, but rather, a combination of sweet tomatoes and creamy goat cheese. Yum.

Galettes are usually sweet, but this one is wonderfully savory.

The combination of tomatoes and goat cheese is outstanding, especially when drizzled with basil garlic oil.

Also, how colorful is this bad boy, am I right? Nothing screams summer more than this galette!

18. Herb and Goat Cheese Puff Pastry Bites

Puff pastry is such a perfect crust for appetizers. Topped with sweet or savory fillings, it never disappoints.

These flaky and buttery bites are filled with a blend of goat cheese, cream cheese, garlic, and herbs.

I’ll give you a moment to let all of that goodness sink in.

They’re super elegant and worthy of any special occasion, but they’re also easy enough to make any day.

19. Roasted Beet Goat Cheese Salad

Bursting with roasted beets, avocado, arugula, walnuts, this salad is loaded, to say the least.

The combination of colors, flavors, and textures create a mouthwatering symphony.

Each component is special on its own, but together, they’re even more remarkable.

Tied together by a sweet and tangy maple balsamic glaze, this salad might just be the greatest of all time.

20. Cranberry Pecan Goat Cheese Truffles

OMG. Do these truffles deserve a standing ovation or not?

Even without knowing what’s in these truffles, you’ll still want to have a bite. And don’t worry, they taste just as magnificent as they look.

So here’s what to expect from these bombshells: at their core is a blend of goat cheese, cream cheese, cinnamon, honey, and pecans.

The base alone is so good it’ll give you goosebumps.

The cheese balls are then coated with more pecans, cranberries, and parsley, and finished with a drizzle of honey.

There may not be any chocolate involved in making these truffles, but it doesn’t matter. These truffles are definitely the stuff of legends.

21. Raspberry Goat Cheese Cheesecake

Capping off this list is a unique dessert you don’t want to miss.

Cheesecake is usually made from cream cheese, but for this recipe, you’ll kick things up a notch with a trio of cheeses.

Using a blend of goat cheese, cream cheese, and mascarpone, this cheesecake means serious business.

The swirls of sweet and tart raspberry add that lovely punch of fruity flavor.

The crust has a little bit of honey in it, which compliments really well with the filling.

It’s creamy, dreamy, and everything you want a cheesecake to be.
