I often get asked what to serve with spinach dip.
And while tortilla chips are the most common, it pair really well with fries, soft pretzels, and more.
What’s Good with Spinach Dip?
Spinach dip is the ultimate creamy-salty-hot-cheesy party dip. It’s beloved by everyone and is a must-make during the holidays.
But many people still wonder what to serve with spinach dip.
Luckily, there are no wrong answers. So rest assured, it’ll pair well with everything from popcorn shrimp to little smokies.
That said, here are a few tried and true dippers I always turn to.
1. Tortilla Chips
You’d be hard-pressed to find anything crunchy tortilla chips don’t go with!
So if you need something quick, easy, and guaranteed to please, chips are the way to go.
Feel free to buy them in a big bag. Or maybe take a bit of time to make them yourself. You won’t believe how easy it is!
They’re a little healthier than storebought (because they aren’t deep fried), and you can easily make a big batch for a party.
2. Crackers
Crackers are another must-have dipper for all kinds of hot and cold dips.
But while you can just grab a box of Ritz at the store, these Alabama Fire Crackers are my go-to.
They’re crunchy, spicy, and to die for. And that added heat will take your spinach dip to new heights!
3. Pita Chips
Pita is soft yet firm and will work really well as a dipper for your spinach dip.
But since the dip is gooey and soft, I think it’s best served with something crunchy.
So, slice the pita into wedges and pop those bad boys in the oven!
Season them with whatever you like, and make sure to serve plenty – you’ll need it.
4. Crudités Platter
This simple crudités platter is a real crowd-pleaser.
It pairs colorful veggies on a serving plate – like a vegetarian charcuterie board – and will hold up well all night long.
When selecting veggies, find colors that complement each other, like red peppers, green cucumbers, and vibrant red and white radishes.
5. French bread
Spinach dip and French bread are a match made in heaven. That delightfully chewy crust with tender insides demands dunking.
And nothing holds a candle to homemade French bread. It’s easier to whip together than you think, and it’s so insanely tasty.
Bonus points: it makes your home smell like a French bakery!
6. Pretzel Bites
Making pretzels at home is also easier than you think. And that salty-chewy finish is so yummy with spinach dip.
Of course, real pretzels need a bit of time to perfect.
Yes, you need yeast. Yes, they need a baking soda bath. And yes, they need to proof.
But after one bite, you’ll see it’s more than worth it!
7. Lobster Rangoon
Want something a little more substantial to go with your dip?
Lobster Rangoon is a terrific appetizer on its own, but it’s excellent as a dipper.
It’s crunchy, meaty, and loaded with flavor. And that filling of cream cheese, onion, garlic, and lobster meat pairs flawlessly with cheesy spinach dip.
Not a lobster lover? Try regular cream cheese wontons instead.
8. Focaccia Bread
Foccacia bread has a chewy, open texture similar to really good pizza dough.
It’s dense and chewy, with plenty of air bubbles to capture all that delicious dip. And it’s crazy easy to make.
Plus, you can top it with all kinds of yummy extras, like sea salt, rosemary, tomatoes, and onions.
9. Waffle Fries
Everyone loves french fries, and they’re excellent dippers.
But spinach dip calls for something with more substance! Enter these waffle fries!
They’re crispy on the outside with fluffy potato middles. And they’ll hold a mouthful of dip without breaking.
Feel free to grab a bag from the frozen aisle. Or make them at home with a mandoline.
10. Bagel Chips
These homemade bagel chips are a great way to fill your party tray. They offer an intense crunch and are easy to whip together in a flash.
Grab some premade bagels and slice them nice and thin. Then bake until crispy.
I like Everything bagels (with extra Everything Bagel seasoning). But this will work with any bagel, including easy 2-ingredient bagels with Greek yogurt!
