The air fryer perfectly melts the cheese while simultaneously making the shell crunchier.

My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Bonus Recipe – Air Fryer Chicken Wings

While I love juicy, messy chicken wings covered in sauce, I think the best option for the air fryer is a dry rub.

The air fryer is designed to make food crispy and crunchy, after all. And with a dry rub, you get perfectly cooked meat inside with a dreamy crispy coating.

Feel free to buy a premade rub from, the store. But if you want homemade, here’s my go-to spice mix for chicken wings:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon cayenne
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
  • 12 chicken wings

Simply mix the spices in a bowl until they’re evenly distributed. Then, rub it over a dozen wings (patted dry with paper towels).

To cook in the air fryer:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spray the basket with cooking oil, then lay the wings in a single layer (you may need to work in batches).
  3. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flip the wings over, and cook for another 5-8 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

  1. Love your website & recipes, I just bought a Ninja Air Fryer and we absolutley love it. So far I have done salmon, chicken, & french fries. I tried a brisket and it turned out rubbery, still learning 🙂

My husband loves liver & onions any ideas how to use the air fryer so that it turns out good? I’ve tried frying liver but it does not turn out the way he likes it.
