And before you ask, yes, they go beyond salsa and queso.
These phenomenal dips will have your friends and family begging for more.
Plus, you can make several of them in less than 5 minutes!
So get ready to indulge in all the goodness of Mexican dip recipes!
1. Seven-Layer Taco Dip
Seven-layer taco dip is a terrific dip with something for everyone.
Each layer adds a little more flavor to an already incredible dish.
It’s filling and combines numerous textures and tastes. There are warm layers of refried beans and melted cheese.
Then, there are cool layers of lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.
It’s the closest you can get to having tacos or burritos without actually having them.
2. Mexican Sour Cream Dip
This simple, eight-ingredient dip requires 2 minutes to make.
Yep, just 2 minutes. You mix everything in a bowl until it has a smooth consistency, and voila! It’s ready to eat.
You don’t even have to refrigerate it! Just mix, stir, and serve.
It has a garlicky, herby salsa flavor and a thick, creamy consistency. Everyone will love it.
3. Tomatillo Salsa Verde
Why buy salsa verde when you can make your own? You need fewer than 10 ingredients, and the process isn’t complicated.
Plus, homemade salsa verde tastes so much better. It’s fresher, and you can tweak the recipe however you like.
If you prefer yours with more garlic, add more garlic. If you want something spicier, choose hotter peppers.
4. Mexican Street Corn Dip
Street corn is a staple in Mexican culture. You can bring a little of that home with you with Mexican street corn dip.
It’s sweet, spicy, herby, and tangy all at once. It has a crazy amount of flavor and takes no more than 30 minutes to make.
It may look like a strange conglomeration of ingredients. Fortunately, it tastes so good that you won’t care how it looks.
5. 5-Minute Taco Dip
This 5-minute taco dip has all the robust flavor of the seven-layer dip above. (Minus the refried beans.)
However, you can whip it up in just 5 minutes.
It’s delicious and requires no cooking whatsoever. If you have unexpected guests, this is an excellent dish to make.
6. Baked Mexican Cheese Dip
Want something supremely creamy and cheesy? You can’t go wrong with baked Mexican cheese dip.
It’s so rich and decadent that it’s hard to believe it uses only four ingredients.
You’ll mix cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, and salsa. Once you’ve achieved a good consistency, pop it in the oven to bake.
In about 25 minutes, you’ll have the ooiest, gooiest cheese dip imaginable.
7. Cream Cheese Bean Dip
Cream cheese bean dip is a lot like the baked Mexican cheese dip. It’s just as gooey, cheesy, creamy, and rich.
The main difference is that it includes refried beans and taco seasoning. You also use a Mexican cheese blend instead of cheddar.
It’s still just as tasty and easy to make. And it’s even more filling than the cheese dip alone.
8. Mexican Fiesta Dip
If you want the perfect party dip, look no further than this five-ingredient fiesta dip.
It takes 30 minutes to make and is ideal for any occasion.
It combines cream cheese and two of your favorite cheese varieties. Mix those with chili and salsa for a truly tantalizing treat.
It’s rich and ridiculously cheesy, but there’s also plenty of fresh salsa flavor.
Serve it for your next potluck or get-together. You won’t have to worry about leftovers.
9. Black Bean Dip
Colorful, chunky, dense, and filling. Those are the words most people use to describe black bean dip. It’s also cool, zesty, and zingy.
It’s ideal if you want a healthy dip option that’s not too rich. As chunky and filling as it is, it isn’t heavy.
It won’t weigh you down like some of the cheese-based dips.
10. Queso Verde Corn Dip
Add peppers, onions, and corn to take your queso up a notch. The veggies give it more nutrients and a better, thicker texture.
It’s easy to make and still as creamy and cheesy as all good queso dips should be.
It tastes best fresh from the oven when it’s still warm and bubbly.
11. Fresh Mango Guacamole
Guacamole is already a cool, refreshing treat. Make it even more so by adding mango into the mix!
It lightens and brightens the already superb taste of guac.
It also makes it moister and more tropical. Serve it with tortilla chips or veggies, or use it as a topping.
Either way, you’ll love every bite.
12. Chicken Fajita Queso Dip
Want to turn chicken fajitas into an easy, shareable appetizer?
This recipe will show you how. It’s a thick, chunky dip full of everything that makes fajitas great.
The biggest difference? All the creamy queso fresco you’ll use.
Best of all, it takes just 25 minutes to make and will certainly please the crowd.
13. Black Bean Chipotle Dip
You can never have too many 5-minute dip options.
What could be easier when people show up last minute, or you forget about an upcoming event?
This one is earthy, herby, spicy, and spectacular. It’s a thick, creamy dip that looks like a chocolate dessert.
It certainly isn’t, so be sure people know that before they try it.
14. Mexican White Cheese Dip
No list of Mexican dip recipes is complete without this one.
Mexican white cheese dip may be the quintessential Mexican dip. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t love it.
It’s so creamy and cheesy. Every bite is like a little taste of ambrosia.
If you don’t try any other recipes from this list, try this one. I promise that it’ll become a new staple on game day.
15. Crockpot Mexican Sausage Dip
Ready to try one of the best Rotel recipes ever? It doesn’t get any better than this Rotel dip!. However, I’ve also heard it called by plenty of other names.
It’s a thick, delectable cheese dip with juicy sausage and zesty ROTEL.
Everyone who tries it will come back for more. Be sure you serve it with strong chips, though.
Otherwise, you risk breaking them in this chunky cheese dip.
16. Restaurant-Style Salsa
This salsa recipe perfectly balances tomatoes, cilantro, and peppers. It’s fresh, light, and only mildly spicy.
Picture your favorite restaurant salsa. Now, imagine it tastes even better.
This homemade version will blow all those others away.
I won’t swear that it’s my favorite salsa recipe. Still, it’s somewhere near the top of the list.
17. White Queso Dip
Here’s another yummy recipe for white queso dip. This one includes several more spices and seasonings in the mix, though.
Along with jalapenos, you also add chili powder, nutmeg, and red pepper flakes.
Add a topping of cilantro, tomatoes, and jalapenos for extra flair and flavor.
It’s a spicier, more robust queso dip. It isn’t nearly as mild and unassuming as other recipes.
So, if you like a boatload of flavor in your cheese dip, you’re in luck. This recipe’s the one for you.
18. Creamy Avocado Salsa Verde
Salsa verde doesn’t usually look this pale and creamy. Of course, it doesn’t typically include avocado in the recipe, either.
This recipe does, and it makes all the difference. You still get the same great, mildly spicy taste of genuine salsa verde.
However, there are notes of avocado underneath.
It’s not quite like guacamole mixed with salsa verde. But it’s close.
19. Mexican Spinach Dip
Move over spinach artichoke dip. Mexican spinach dip is about to steal the show.
It’s creamy and flavorful, just like regular spinach dip.
However, there’s a distinct Mexican flair to this one. It also features ROTEL, jalapenos, chili powder, and more.
It takes your average spinach dip up a notch.
And spinach dip is already scrumptious, so you know this has to be good.
20. Black Bean and Corn Salsa
Do you want to incorporate more garden vegetables into your diet? This salsa can help you do that.
You can’t beat it in the summer. It’s so light, bright, and fresh, and it’s full of nutritious ingredients, too!
It’s a colorful, veggie-packed salsa that’ll give you serious salad vibes.
21. Creamy Avocado Cilantro Dip
Do you need a dip that’ll fit a variety of dietary needs? Creamy avocado cilantro dip is keto- and paleo-friendly and gluten-free!
Plus, you can serve it with more than just chips!
Plate it with celery stalks, baby carrots, green onions, and more. Your dieting guests will thank you!
22. Mexican Layered Hummus Dip
Hummus is traditionally a Middle Eastern dish. However, this recipe adds a little Mexican pizzazz to the classic.
It’s a cheesier, meatier, and herbier version of hummus. It might not be as healthy as the original recipe, but it tastes great.
23. Cheesy Ground Beef Taco Dip
This 30-minute appetizer uses six ingredients and is impossibly easy to make.
Fortunately, it’s also delicious. It features cream cheese and your favorite shredded cheese.
There are also succulent pieces of well-seasoned ground beef and salsa. Every bite is like a small taco salad with a lot more cheese.
It’s ideal for game day and a simple way to use leftover ground beef. Waste not, want not!
