What about beer, you ask?

Well, I do enjoy beer. But it just doesn’t hold a candle to something bright, fun, and boozy.

So with that in mind, I thought I’d share my favorite fruity alcoholic drinks. That way, we can all keep cool by the pool.

These cocktails are sweet and strong and will take you to the tropics after just one sip.

20+ Fruity Cocktails To Help You Cool Off This Summer

1. Vodka Party Punch

This is the ultimate party drink. I mean, it even has “party” in the name.

Every sip is fantastically fruity and seriously boozy. Plus, this recipe makes a ton, so it can fill a lot of glasses.

It’s loaded with sugary goodness from the likes of Hawaiian punch, pineapple juice, ginger ale, and orange juice.

Of course, you can’t forget the vodka! Just be careful because this stuff is potent!

Feel free to add sherbet or frozen fruit for some additional fruity fun.

2. 3-Ingredient Piña Colada

This drink is as easy as 1-2-3!

Actually, it’s even easier because there’s really only one step: dump everything into a blender and let it do its thing.

You’ll need rum, coconut milk, and frozen pineapple, plus a few minutes to blitz. Pretty easy, huh?

The result is a delicious, refined sugar-free piña colada. Yum!

3. Malibu Sunset

Just like a sunset on the beach, this drink is a stunner!

It’s full of warm, bright colors, so it’s a true ode to its name. Plus, it is made with Malibu rum, which also contributes to the name.

But the taste is what makes you think of luxurious California nights.

You’ll notice a whole fruit basket of flavors as cherry, orange, pineapple, and coconut dance along your tongue.

It’s just plain delicious!

4. Amaretto Sour

Almond and citrus go hand in hand. But if you’ve never tried an amaretto sour before, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with this one.

This drink is sweet, sour, and floral with a hint of nuttiness. It stars almond liqueur, lemon juice, and lemon-lime soda.

Add orange slices and a cherry for garnish.

This combo is also delicious with grapefruit juice and grapefruit soda too.

5. Strawberry Hennessy

Try this cocktail if you like fruity drinks but don’t want something ridiculously tropical.

It’s made with cognac and has a warm, spiced, dark flavor profile. But it also features a bright strawberry syrup and your favorite champagne.

I know it sounds a little odd, but the light fruitiness balances the darkness of the cognac perfectly.

It’s a subtle drink, but certainly a delicious one!

6. Mimosa-Champagne Cocktail

Mimosas are the ultimate brunch drink. At least that’s what pop culture seems to say.

They’re bubbly, fruity, and effortless to make.

Simply gather your favorite champagne, fruity liquor, and fruit juice or puree. Then, pour it into a champagne flute and gently stir.

The best part is that there are so many variations you can make. So, you could have a different mimosa every day of the week.

Let me know how far you get!

7. Strawberry Mojito

I love mojitos. There is something so utterly delicious about the balance of mint, fruit, and rum.

If you’ve never experienced the pure heaven that is a mojito, you must try it! And this strawberry mojito is a fabulous place to start.

It’s fruitier than a regular mojito, so it’s a bit sweeter. Plus, it has real strawberry pieces, adding fun texture and freshness!

This recipe calls for plain soda water, but I highly recommend strawberry-flavored sparkling water instead.

That way, your drink will absolutely burst with strawberry flavor. Delish!

8. Tequila Sunrise Cocktail

Say good morning to your new favorite juice…I mean, cocktail.

This drink is delicious but dangerous. While you can taste the tequila, the fruity flavors are too good to resist.

And that means it’s effortless to drink more than you might have planned.

Each sip explodes with orange and cherry flavors. You’ll love it!

9. Perfect Cosmopolitan Cocktail

This drink is pretty in pink and will tickle your taste buds, too! Tangy and a little sweet, this one is totally chic.

The perfect cosmopolitan cocktail features a mix of cranberry juice, triple sec, vodka, and lime.

Garnish with an orange, and you’ll soon be living your best NYC life.

10. Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri

This is like the grown-up version of your favorite childhood slushie. It’s sweet, tart, and totally refreshing.

It’s also super easy to make.

Simply gather frozen strawberries, sugar, vodka, and a splash of lime juice. Blend and enjoy!

It doesn’t get easier than that!

This alcoholic slushie is the perfect drink to sip outside by the pool. You can make as many or as few as you like, so it’s ideal for parties too.

11. Hurricane Cocktail

Prepare your taste buds for a whirlwind of flavor. This tasty rum cocktail is a tropical delight I know you’ll love.

It features two kinds of rum, orange juice, simple syrup, grenadine, lime, and passion fruit.

Traditionally, it’s served in a hurricane glass, hence the name. But it’s just as tasty in a wine glass or coffee mug.

Just don’t forget the little umbrella!

12. Mai Tai Drink

If you’ve never had a Mai Tai, you’re in for a treat.

Two types of rum add even more boozy goodness along with delicious fruity flavors.

If you don’t believe me about how delicious this is, maybe you’ll believe an urban legend?

The Mai Tai was insanely popular in the 40s and 50s. Supposedly, it was so popular that the world almost ran out of rum.

Now, you have to try it!

13. Classic Aperol Spritz

Have you really been to Italy if you haven’t tried an Aperol Spritz? I was lucky enough to visit Venice recently, and it was everywhere!!

It’s pretty much iconic at this point. Thankfully, you can make this easy spritz cocktail at home and bring Italy to you!

You only need four ingredients: Aperol, Prosecco, club soda, and orange to garnish.

It’s light, fizzy, and tantalizingly citrusy.

14. Jungle Juice

Jungle Juice is sort of an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink kind of drink.

It has so much yumminess that it’s hard to pinpoint a distinguishable flavor. I’d just go with scrumptious

You’ll need orange juice, lemonade, fruit punch, cranberry juice, club soda, rum, AND vodka.

On top of that, it’s loaded with fresh orange and strawberry slices.

And although this is indistinguishable from juice in flavor and feeling, this stuff is potent.

15. Vodka Cranberry Cocktail

This refreshing vodka cranberry cocktail is lip-puckeringly tart and absolutely tasty! The best part is that it’s just as easy to make for one or a crowd.

If you use organic ingredients, you’ll even get a little nutrition. Just mix vodka, cranberry juice, lime cordial, and orange juice.

It’s still fruity but not overly sweet, and definitely for those who like their drinks strong.

16. Fruity and Delicious Raspberry Cosmopolitan

When it comes to this raspberry cosmopolitan, I think the name says it all – it’s fruity and delicious!

This drink is especially great because it features homemade raspberry vodka (recipe included), so it’s super fresh!

This drink also contains orange juice, lime juice, Cointreau, and orange bitters. You and everyone you serve this to will love it!

17. Lemon Drop Shot

If you’re a lover of lemon, then you need to try this zesty shot!

It tastes just like old-fashioned lemonade., but, you know, quite a bit stronger!

18. Clover Club Cocktail

The Clover Club cocktail is delicious and just a little bit unexpected. If you want to impress guests, the Clover Club is the cocktail to do it.

It’s bright, fruity, and refreshing, featuring the bold flavors of raspberry and lemon.

This is a gin-heavy drink, so there are earthy juniper notes for balance.

What makes this drink so unexpected is the egg-white foam. It adds just a touch of richness and creaminess.

It’s so yummy!

19. Tom Collins Cocktail

Tom Collins is a classic drink. It invokes feelings of days at the golf course or a country club.

It’s extremely refreshing and delicious. Every sip will bring a bright citrus flavor to your tongue.

That’s because Tom Collins is made with lemon, gin, simple syrup, and club soda.

It’s kind of like a sparkling lemonade! And like lemonade, Tom Collins is absolutely delicious with additional flavors.

You can add fruits, herbs, or even extra liqueurs to customize it to your liking.

I love the idea of a blueberry Tom Collins!

20. Classic Old Cuban Cocktail

If you like mojitos, you’ll love this Old Cuban cocktail. Think of it like a mimosa, but you use a mojito instead of juice.

Or maybe it’s easier to picture it as a mojito with champagne instead of soda water.

Either way, it’s bubbly, tart, boozy, minty, and refreshing. How delightful!

21. Painkiller

Do you like piña coladas? Then I know you’ll love the Painkiller cocktail.

It’s fruity, delicious, and tastes like an elevated, extra special piña colada.

Featuring a delightful trio of rum, coconut cream, and pineapple, you’ll want to sip this one all day long.

But wait, there’s more! It also contains orange juice for a bright citrus twist.

22. Long Island Iced Tea

The Long Island Iced Tea is an iconic boozy beverage. And when I say boozy, I mean boozy!

This drink has FIVE types of alcohol, plus sour mix and cola. It’s sweet, and it’s strong, but it’s also insanely tasty!

Yes, you read that right.

This Sex in the Driveway cocktail is a wonderfully tropical drink that you just need to try.

I know, I know…why is a mocktail on a list called Fruity Alcoholic Drinks?

Well, it’s delicious, so it had to be included.

The Cinderella mocktail features orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, grenadine, and ginger ale.

A dash of bitters combats the sweetness for the perfect sip.

The best part is that everyone can enjoy this tasty drink. Alcohol-free means no one has to miss the ball or stay on the sidelines!
