Eggs Benedict with Fresh Herbs

I LOVE breakfast food. It gives us an energy boost and motivates us to get up in the morning and start the day. Breakfast foods have an extra special charm.

With so many fantastic breakfast dishes out there, why not switch things up a little and have breakfast for dinner?

Bacon, eggs, and all of our favorite breakfast treats taste great at any time of the day!

Without further ado, I present to you 23 mouthwatering breakfast for dinner recipes!

Let’s get crackin’, shall we?

French Toast Casserole

1. French Toast Casserole

Sure, nothing beats the classic, but giving it a new spin is fun! This French toast casserole is sweet, rich, crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside.

It’s everything you want in a French toast, but better. With this recipe, there’s no need to stand in front of the stove.

Instead, you just let the oven do all the work!

Finished off with thick maple syrup, this breakfast for dinner casserole will leave you wanting more.

2. Breakfast Casserole

We started with a sweet casserole, so let’s follow it up with one that’s super savory.

Italian sausage, onions, garlic, red pepper, eggs, milk, cheese, and hash browns in one pan? It doesn’t get any better than this, folks!

It’s rich, hearty, cheesy, and absolutely delightful.

Best of all? This casserole is effortless to make! Just throw all the ingredients in one pan and bake!

Garnish with sliced avocados or green onions for a pop of color. And that’s it! Breakfast for dinner is served.

3. Breakfast Burrito

I love Mexican food, and I don’t care if they call this dish a breakfast burrito — I’ll gladly eat it any time of day!

A soft tortilla packed with spicy sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese, and salsa, this breakfast burrito is everything a burrito should be.

The special twist here is the avocado tomato salsa, which adds that wonderful balance of rich and refreshing flavors.

The color contrast of red and green is just lovely, too.

4. Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich

Is there a more classic sandwich than one that’s filled with bacon, egg, and cheese?

The B.E.C. may have the most basic pantry ingredients, but don’t underestimate its flavor!

The crunch from the bacon adds a wonderful dimension, too!

It’s perfect for those nights when you’re just too tired to make something too elaborate but still want to serve something satisfying.

BEC is both tasty and easy to make, making it the perfect weeknight breakfast for dinner.

5. Breakfast Quesadillas

We’ve already covered breakfast burritos, now it’s time to give the spotlight to breakfast quesadillas!

A crisp and golden tortilla bursting with eggs, pinto beans, cheese, and fresh herbs, these pockets of goodness are all you need for a relaxing dinner with the family.

They come together quickly, too! Just 25 minutes, and they’re done.

6. Chicken and Waffles

Chicken and waffles are the perfect breakfast for dinner match!

There’s just something extraordinary about the combination of tender waffles, crispy chicken, and sweet maple syrup.

Is there anyone who can say no to this glorious dish?

Sometimes it can be a little tedious to fry chicken, but with this recipe, you can use boneless chicken instead!

Chicken tenders make the process a lot faster without sacrificing flavor. Problem solved!

7. Breakfast Grilled Cheese

Grilled cheese is great to make for dinner when you have a hankering for comfort food but are too lazy to make something complicated.

With this recipe, you’ll get boatloads of tips and tricks that will help you achieve the most perfect grilled cheese.

Did I mention that this grilled cheese has breakfast sausage in it? Meat and cheese on bread? Yes, please!

8. Tapsilog

Bet you never heard of this one before!

Tapsilog is a classic Filipino dish made with garlic rice, a fried egg, and tapa.

Tapa refers to thinly sliced beef that’s flavored with sugar, soy sauce, and calamansi juice, and is then fried to perfection.

Together, these three elements make the heartiest and most satisfying dish. It’s so good, eating just one serving will be a challenge!

9. Breakfast Burger

A breakfast burger for dinner? I’m in!

This breakfast burger is complete with a beef patty, hash browns, eggs, cheese, bacon, and toasted bread!

Wow, this burger is definitely not lacking in the flavor department!

As if those ingredients weren’t amazing enough, a not-so-secret sauce makes things even more exciting.

Have you ever thought of adding a blackberry jam in a burger? Try it. You’ll love it!

10. Eggs Benedict

Need an elegant dinner to impress a special someone? English muffins, Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and a hollandaise sauce: how fancy!

Eggs Benedict may seem like a complex dish to make, but you don’t need to be a pro to whip this up.

The only challenging part about it is the hollandaise sauce, but it’s not that difficult to make.

As long as you follow the directions accordingly, things should go swimmingly.

11. Croque Madame

Sweet ham, melty cheese, toasted bread, rich Mornay sauce, and a runny fried egg on top: that’s what I call the perfect Croque Madame.

This sandwich is so addictive, we ought to call it crack madame instead!

Don’t be intimidated by the sauce because you can definitely make it at home.

It may sound too complicated, but it’s just bechamel sauce mixed with Gruyere!

Here’s a fun fact: the only difference between a Croque Monsieur and a Croque Madame is that the latter has a fried egg on top.

It’s called such because the egg resembles a woman’s hat!

12. Blueberry Pancakes

If you’re like me and love sweets for dinner, then you’ll adore this recipe. Moist and fluffy pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and blueberries?

Oh my! Just hand it to me already!

This recipe makes super thick pancakes, but don’t be fooled. They’re so soft, they’ll melt in your mouth. Yum!

13. Jalapeno Popper Bagels

Cheesy, spicy, and hearty: that’s what jalapeno popper bagels are all about.

While you can never go wrong with the classic pairing of cream cheese and bagel, it also can’t hurt to turn up the heat!

This recipe adds three cheeses to bagels: cream cheese, white cheddar, and Monterey Jack. It’s also loading up with jalapenos for a nice kick.

It has one more tasty ingredient too: bacon. We all know everything tastes better with bacon!

14. Cheesy Spinach Quiche

Spinach, mushroom, cheese, and eggs in a pie? Sounds like a heavenly quiche to me!

This cheesy spinach quiche is wonderfully rich, creamy, and hearty! Stuffed in a flaky and buttery homemade pie, it’s the kind of breakfast you’ll want to eat for lunch and dinner.

Homemade Elvis Sandwich

15. The Elvis

Even if this sandwich weren’t the King’s favorite, I’d still enjoy it. I mean, what’s not to love? Peanut butter, bananas, and bacon?

It may not seem like a traditional combo back in the day, but it’s pure genius!

It’s sweet, it’s savory, it’s creamy — all fantastic flavors in one bite. No wonder Elvis loved it!

16. Grilled Cheese

In dire need of a comfort food for dinner? How about a classic grilled cheese sandwich?

Perfectly toasted bread that’s oozing with ooey-gooey cheese, it’s the best way to cheer up on a gloomy evening.

This recipe adds a little twist for more flavor! Not only will you get cheese as the filling, but you’ll also get it on top of the bread!

The special twist is easy to achieve, don’t worry. You just sprinkle cheese on your skillet and press the grilled cheese against it! Nice trick, huh?

17. Bacon Fried Rice

This classic fried rice is already loaded with so many ingredients, herbs, and seasonings. We’re taking it a step further by adding bacon!

Here’s a complete rundown: rice, bacon, eggs, peas, carrots, white and green onions, sesame oil, and soy sauce.

Can you just imagine how insanely good this fried rice will be?!

18. Breakfast Pizza

Breakfast pizza for dinner? Why not! Store-bought crust topped with lots of bacon, eggs, and mozzarella — sounds like a great idea!

Aside from the flavor, another thing I love about this breakfast pizza is how easy it is to make.

It’s just a matter of piling all the ingredients onto the pizza crust and baking it. It’s the fastest way to get a mouthwatering dinner on the table!

19. Steak and Egg Sandwich

Tender steak and a runny egg in a sandwich: it doesn’t get any more indulgent than that! Or does it?

Sure, the steak and the egg are the stars of this dish, but you can’t go wrong by adding more ingredients that will enhance their flavor.

In this case, we’re using arugula, cheese, and a pumpkin seed arugula pesto to make this sandwich even more spectacular.

20. Frittata

Frittata, or the Italian omelet, is a hearty breakfast for dinner that you can whip up in just 20 minutes. Surprised? Well, it’s not that difficult to make!

All you need are eggs, heavy cream, cheese, and your choice of veggies and meat.

Seriously, whatever you have in the fridge, just throw it in there.

You can’t go wrong as long as you follow the ratio specified in the recipe, so just have fun with it!

21. Salmon and Bagel

We have the iconic salmon and bagel duo up next. It’s not just pure salmon in a bagel, though.

For more flavor and texture, let’s add cream cheese, scrambled eggs, asparagus, and red onions!

All those ingredients in one bagel? What a wonderful explosion of flavors, don’t you think?

22. Souffle Pancakes

It’s the latest food craze in Japan, and I am completely in love. I mean, what’s not to like? It’s souffle and pancakes rolled into one terrific dish!

These souffle pancakes are so fluffy and airy, they’ll melt in your mouth.

Topped with whipped cream and berries, it’s the most heavenly breakfast/dessert for dinner you’ll ever have.

Souffle pancakes are easy to make, too! The key to getting light and pillowy souffle pancakes is to beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.

That’s all there is to it!

23. Sweet Potato Waffles

To end this list, we have another sweet breakfast that’s totally perfect for dinner.

Waffles are already yummy as they are, but how about making them using sweet potatoes?

This healthy alternative to the iconic comfort food has fewer calories, and it’s gluten-free as well! The mashed potatoes give it such a lovely sweet flavor!

Crisp on the outside, tender and fluffy on the inside, you’ll never guess these waffles are good for you!
