13 Alcoholic Pudding Shots Adults Will Love

Move over Jell-O shots, there’s a new party drink in town! If you want drinks that can double as dessert, pudding shots are perfect!

Pudding shots are sweeter, smoother, and much more scrumptious than Jell-O shots.

Most of them use only a handful of ingredients and take mere moments to prepare.

You start with a base of instant pudding mix. Then, you usually add milk, Cool Whip, and one to four different spirits.

They’re quick, easy, and sure to delight everyone who tries them.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s check out these 13 pudding shot recipes right now!

1. Basic Chocolate Pudding Shots

These simple six-ingredient pudding shots are creamy, chocolatey, and yummy.

Each one features Baileys and whipped vodka for a sweet, boozy treat.

The Cool Whip gives them a nice texture. The espresso powder gives them a rich coffee kick.

If you enjoy mochas and cappuccinos, these are the pudding shots for you.

2. Vanilla Pudding Shots

Vanilla pudding shots look like tiny cups of whipped cream.

Fortunately, they’re thicker, heartier, and more flavorful than simple whipped cream.

You whip them up with just five ingredients, and they’re full of sweet vanilla flavor.

Plus, there’s a double dose of vodka in every shot. They’re a fun way to get the party started.

3. Peanut Butter Whiskey Pudding Shots

Peanut butter whiskey shots sound a bit strange. If you’re a fan of Reese’s Cups, you’ll love them.

They flawlessly combine peanut butter and chocolate for a phenomenal flavor.

There’s also whipped cream and a Reese’s Cup on top of each one. If you want a pudding shot that doubles as dessert, these are ideal.

Best of all, you can have them ready in just an hour.

4. Red, White, and Blue Pudding Shots

Looking for the perfect dessert shot for a patriotic holiday? These red, white, and blue pudding shots are just the thing.

They’re colorful and festive, and they taste great. You’ll barely notice the vodka.

Instead, the cheesecake pudding flavor comes through nice and strong.

As for the layers, all you’ll need is food coloring. They’re super simple to make, requiring no more than 10 minutes of hands-on work.

Serve a tray for your next July 4th or Memorial Day party. Everyone there will go crazy over these adorable tri-colored treats.

5. Banana Pudding Shots

It doesn’t get much more ‘Red Hot American Summer’ than banana pudding.

So why not make banana pudding shots for your next summer party?

You can pull them together with three simple ingredients.

You need milk, banana pudding instant pudding mix, and vodka. I prefer whipped cream vodka, but vanilla works, too.

Top them with whipped cream and Nilla Wafers if you like. It makes them look even more like traditional banana pudding.

With or without the topping, they’re sure to be a hit.

6. RumChata Vanilla Pudding Shots

These simple pudding cups may not look like much, but they taste fantastic!

They’re rich, decadent, and delightfully spiced with cinnamon.

They taste so good that you’ll want to lick every last bit from the cup.

Fortunately, you can make 50 in just 10 minutes, so you should have plenty to enjoy.

Just remember, each one features RumChata and vodka. So don’t knock back too many at once.

7. Creamy Frozen White Russian Pudding Shots

Do you love the sweet, coffee-infused flavor of White Russians? If so, wait until you try these White Russian pudding shots.

They have everything you love about the cocktail, plus pudding!

They’re creamy, melt-in-your-mouth dessert shots that are impossible to resist.

They also mean you’ll never have to choose between dessert and drinks again. Just sit back and enjoy a flawless combination of both.

8. Butterfinger Pudding Shots

You will not want to stop eating these boozy Butterfinger treats.

They’re cool and creamy but filled with crunchy Butterfinger bites. They aren’t terribly strong, alcohol-wise, which is good because they’re addictive.

If they had tons of alcohol in them, we’d all be in trouble.

Because there’s no way you’re walking away with less than five of these. You might even want to come back for more than that!

9. Buttery Nipple Gourmet Pudding Shots

Buttery Nipple shots are smooth, creamy, and full of butterscotch yumminess.

There are four different types of liquor in each shot. Even so, all you’ll taste is butterscotch, butterscotch, and more butterscotch.

They aren’t the fanciest or prettiest options on the list. However, they make up for that in their warm, rich flavor.

I like to make these for fall gatherings, but they work anytime.

10. Cookies and Cream Pudding Shots

Have you ever tried Dairy Queen’s Oreo Blizzard? That’s what these sweet, chocolatey treats remind me of.

They’re smooth and luscious but feature crunchy chunks of Oreos in every bite.

It takes 15 minutes to prepare them and another 2 hours for them to chill.

You need just six ingredients and practically no skill in the kitchen. You can even make do with five if you don’t want to add whipped cream.

The recipe calls for cake vodka, and it works well. However, I’ve also found that I enjoy adding a splash of double chocolate vodka.

It makes them a bit stronger and gives them a richer flavor.

11. Mudslide Pudding Shots

These adorable pudding shots are less messy than genuine mudslides. Luckily, they still feature the same great taste.

They’re extra smooth. And they combine the complementary flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and coffee.

Each one is perfectly sized to be no more than two mouthfuls.

(Don’t worry, the recipe yields 30, so you can have more than one!)

*Note: These use milk, vodka, Baileys, and Kahlua. Because of their high liquid content, they can be runny.

If that becomes a problem, try mixing them a little more thoroughly. You can also pop them in the freezer for 5 or 6 minutes. If all else fails, try adding more Cool Whip.

12. Strawberry Cheesecake Pudding Shots

These lovely pink pudding shots almost look like miniature parfaits. They even have the same sweet and tangy flavor as parfaits.

The difference is that these are boozy and use pudding instead of yogurt. Still, if you love fruit and berry flavors, you’ll appreciate these.

They’re light, smooth, and will help you cool down on a hot day. Best of all, you’ll barely taste the vodka in each one.

(You’ll certainly feel it, though!)

13. Brandy Alexander Pudding Shots

Don’t let the picture on this one throw you off. You can easily make these into smaller pudding shots if you like.

You won’t even have to adjust the recipe to do it! Just be sure you pour them into smaller glasses instead of martini glasses.

These taste like gently spiced chocolate pudding and are ideal for the holidays. They’re effortless to make, too.

Simply whisk everything together, saving the Cool Whip for last. Pour them into your cups and stick them in the fridge.

It shouldn’t take you longer than 10 minutes from start to finish.

They should be ready to enjoy an hour or so after that.
