If you’ve been gluten-free for a while, you’ll know that cakes, cookies, and other bakes can be less than stellar.

They’re usually dry and crumbly with an unpleasant grainy texture.

But not anymore!

Gluten-free baking has come leaps and bounds in recent years. In fact, most recipes these days are so good you’d barely even notice they’re different.

So give these gluten-free banana recipes and desserts a try. I love them all, and I know you will too!

The Best Gluten Free Banana Cake and More!

1. Gluten-Free Banana Cake

Banana cake is one of my favorites. And this gluten-free cake is delicious, moist, and ideal for any birthday or celebration.

Full of delicious spices and wonderful banana flavor, it’s moist, light, and a terrific way to use up any overripe bananas lying around.

Although this cake is fantastic as is, the cream cheese frosting takes it up a few flavor notches.

Oh, and a drizzle of salted caramel wouldn’t hurt, either!

2. Gluten-Free Banana Blondies

Banana blondies are a unique and special treat. They’re buttery and fudgy with incredible banana flavor.

You’ll get notes of caramel and rich butter in every bite. They’re a wonderful compliment to the sweet banana.

The texture of these treats is similar to a brownie. So expect them to be denser than cake but softer than a cookie.

This gluten-free dessert is super quick and easy to make. Make them for your next party, and watch as they fly off the plate!

3. Healthy 3 Ingredient Flourless Banana Bread Bars

Flourless banana bread bars are a healthy and easy dessert that everybody will enjoy.

Banana and peanut butter is an irresistible combination. But when you add chocolate chips? Get ready to swoon.

This is my go-to recipe for when I have a couple of browning bananas and a serious sweet craving! It’s healthy, fruity, and super quick.

4. Best Gluten-Free Banana Pudding

Banana pudding is a straightforward and scrumptious dessert.

Everyone can get behind a dessert with layers of banana slices, creamy pudding, and tender cookies.

And it’s so easy to make it gluten-free! Just use gluten-free shortbread cookies.

It’s a simple swap, but it makes all the difference. Just be sure you pick gluten-free pudding too.

5. Gluten-Free Banana Muffins

Banana muffins are a fantastic recipe for busy mornings or on-the-go snacks.

And this recipe is easy to make and only requires one bowl to get the job done.

Make these muffins with or without chocolate chips – they’re fantastic either way. Or try them with chopped nuts if you like them with crunch.

Oh, and since these are made without any butter, they’re dairy-free to boot!

6. Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Bread

How incredible does this chocolate and banana bread look? Thick, moist, and loaded with flavor, it’s as decadent as it gets.

One bite, and you’d never guess this delicious bread is gluten-free. It’s so soft and full of flavor!

Better yet, it’s fudgy like a brownie but still healthy(ish). So, feel free to have a slice or two for breakfast.

7. Banana Tarte Tatin

If you’re searching for a fancy banana dessert to serve your gluten-free pals, you just found it.

This dessert is extra, and I’m so here for it.

Not only does this dish look incredibly impressive, but it is unbelievably easy to make.

You don’t need to have any special skills in the kitchen for this recipe.

Gluten-free pastry serves as the crust for those heavenly caramel-coated bananas.

Top it with creamy vanilla ice cream and serve while it’s still warm. Yum!

8. Gluten-Free Banana Bread Cookies {Dairy-Free Option}

What do you get when you combine banana bread with classic chocolate chip cookies?

These incredible gluten-free cookies!

They have banana bread flavor and are much cakier than standard chocolate chip cookies.

But what they lack in chewy goodness, they more than make up for in flavor!

If you’ve ever wished you could bring a loaf of banana bread on the go, just make this recipe. They’re the perfect little bites for snacking.

9. Gluten-free Vegan Banana Upside Down Cake

Bananas might not be the most famous fruit for upside down cakes, but they’re my favorite, hands down.

This cake is absolutely lovely. Despite being vegan and gluten-free, it’s full of flavor and has terrific texture.

Since the bananas and all their syrupy sweetness seep into the sponge, it’s naturally sweet and moist.

After one forkful, you’ll go back to pineapple again!

10. Gluten-Free Banoffee Pie

Banoffee pie is super popular in the UK and is a type of banana cream pie.

Featuring a crumbly base, thick layer of caramel, fresh banana slices, and whipped cream, it’s devilishly delish.

For this one, you’ll use a gluten-free biscuit crust. Then smother it with thick caramel, dulce de leche, fruit, and cream.

It’s one of the best no-bake desserts out there. Serve it to your family, and I’m sure they’ll agree.

11. Banoffee Cheesecake (Gluten Free and Low Lactose)

Banoffee pie and cheesecake? I’ll take one for myself and another for later, please!

You all know my slight obsession with cheesecake, right? So you know I can’t resist banana-caramel flavors with creamy, silky cheesecake.

This dessert starts with a crust of gluten-free cookies. Then the luxurious banana cheesecake filling is layered in.

When the cheesecake is finished, top it with tons of sliced bananas and a sinful caramel sauce.

This dessert is to-die-for. And no, I don’t think I’ll share!

12. Banana Sushi (Just 3 Ingredients!)

Banana sushi is a fantastic treat for both kids and adults. It’s fun, easy, and oh-so-simple to make.

With only three ingredients (bananas, dark chocolate, and pistachios), this could easily be served as a sweet dessert or a healthy snack.

It’s gluten-free, low in sugar, and protein-rich.

Bananas are sweet, and the chocolate provides contrast and antioxidants. Meanwhile, the pistachios are crunchy, nutty, and colorful.

This is a totally yummy dessert. Make it tonight, and you’ll crave it for days.

13. Healthy Banana Splits (Vegan + Paleo)

I bet you never thought you’d “healthy” and “banana split” in the same sentence. But we are.

In fact, this is so healthy, it could be considered a snack or even a breakfast dish.

Start with a banana and add a generous scoop of yogurt. Then sprinkle on the tasty toppings and enjoy!

This is a fun treat for kids and would be a spectacular birthday breakfast!

14. Banana Ice Cream

Banana “ice cream” is made with only ONE ingredient.

Unbelievable? Yes. Irresistible? Also, yes.

Also known as “nice cream,” the only thing you need here is frozen banana chunks and a decent food processor.

The banana will blitz and become nice and creamy. And so long as it’s frozen solid, it’ll turn into dreamy ice cream in no time.

Just remember the key words up there: decent food processor. If you have something small and cheap, it likely won’t work as well.

Enjoy this as-is, or add other fruit or flavors.

For example, blueberries will keep it fruity, chocolate will bring a decadent twist, or you could even add Oreos or caramel.

Whatever your taste buds desire, you can’t go wrong with this healthy banana nice cream

15. Gluten Free Banana Chunky Monkey Donuts

These gluten-free banana donuts are super delicious and make a terrific sweet breakfast for the whole family.

They’re tender, sweet, and perfect with coffee.

That said, a few simple toppings will make them even more special and delicious.

Chocolate, walnuts, and toasted coconut, for example.

These are the perfect treat for a holiday morning or special occasion.
