3. Cook the chicken. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.

4. Cook the onions. Reduce the heat to medium, then add the chopped onions. Sauté for about 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become soft and start to brown.

5. Build the sauce. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the chicken broth, Dijon mustard, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir continuously until the sauce becomes smooth and well combined, about 3-5 minutes.
