They’re fancy as can be, but did you know that they’re also super easy to make?

Truffles, at their base, are just a blend of melted chocolate and whipping cream.

When I realized just how simple they are, I immediately went on a truffle frenzy, and I haven’t stopped since.

That’s why I can’t wait to share this round-up of my most favorite truffle recipes!

Enjoy!

1. Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Truffles

It’s a well-known fact that chocolates and strawberries are a match made in heaven, so you already know just how delectable these truffles are.

Besides the strawberries and chocolate, these truffles are made even richer by the addition of cream cheese.

If you desire the ultimate dessert for a romantic evening, you’ll know what to do.

2. Mocha Truffles

Any chocolate and coffee lovers out there? These truffles are for you!

You’ll first be treated to a crunchy chocolate shell, followed by a luscious filling of chocolate and coffee.

I love how the espresso gives the truffles a more intense and delectable chocolate flavor. It’s another perfect pairing.

3. Red Velvet Cake Truffles

Chocolate truffles are awesome, but cake truffles are equally tasty.

In this next truffle recipe, you’ll use a mix of red velvet cake and cream cheese for the filling, and melted chocolate to coat.

Don’t worry, while there is baking involved, it’s almost completely effortless, and it’s all thanks to red velvet cake mix.

4. 3-Ingredient Nutella Truffles

A sweet mix of crushed Oreo cookies and Nutella spread makes up the filling of these heavenly truffles.

They’re covered in chocolate, to boot, creating another layer of decadence.

So, to sum up, these truffles are a combination of Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate. This is the perfect dessert for kids and kids-at-heart!

5. No-Bake Peanut Butter Truffles

Love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? Well, you’re going to fall for these truffles, too.

With a creamy combination of peanut butter and chocolate on the inside and a crunchy chocolate shell on the outside, these truffles are the ultimate peanut butter lover’s delight.

Care to make them prettier? Drizzle them with melted white chocolate on top. It really makes a huge difference.

6. Oreo Balls Oreo Truffles

Oreos, cream cheese, chocolate: these three simple ingredients are combined to make these tasty truffles.

The combination of Oreos and cream cheese creates a perfect balance of sweet and tart. I appreciate how this filling isn’t overly sweet.

These are very basic truffles which even your kids can make.

Just help them out with melting the chocolate melts in the microwave, and they’ll be all set.

7. Traditional Brigadeiro

Brigadeiro is a traditional Brazilian dessert made of sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter. This one’s for all the sweet tooths out there!

The filling is rather soft and fudgy, which is why it’s covered with chocolate sprinkles.

Besides adding a lovely crunch, they’ll also help hold the bonbons’ shape.

8. No-Bake Tiramisu Truffles

Tiramisu and chocolate join forces to make these irresistible bites.

Imagine your favorite espresso-flavored tiramisu cake transformed into truffles. This idea is golden.

Don’t worry, these truffles don’t require baking at all. They’re so easy, you can even ask the kids to join you. Go and make a fun activity out of it!

9. White Chocolate Truffles

Oh my, look how dainty and delicate these white truffles are! These holiday-inspired treats are the perfect Christmas gift.

White chocolate sometimes gets a bad rap for being overly sweet, but these truffles are perfectly balanced.

Sure, they’re made with all white chocolate, but they’re also loaded with chopped nuts, which provide a nice salty contrast.

10. Classic French Chocolate Truffles

These classic French chocolate truffles ooze with elegance and decadence.

It seems like only a master chocolatier can pull them off, but in reality, they’re so easy, it’s ridiculous.

Classic truffles are just chocolate ganache shaped into balls and rolled in cocoa powder. Seriously, it couldn’t be easier than that.

Their taste is simply divine, and they’re smooth and silky, they’ll melt in your mouth like butter.

11.  Mint Chocolate Truffles

Want your chocolate with a bit of a cooling, minty sensation? These mint chocolate truffles are exactly what you’re looking for.

With just a drop or two of peppermint extract, the classic chocolate truffles will be given a minty, fresh twist.

12. Peanut Butter Pretzel Truffles

If you love the combination of sweet and salty, as well as smooth and crunchy, these truffles are a must-try!

I, for one, can’t get enough of these ridiculously tasty confections.

Filled with mini-chocolate chips, peanut butter, and crushed pretzels, these truffles are a party in your mouth.

13. 5-Ingredient Peppermint Chocolate Truffles

Here’s yet another refreshing treat for all you peppermint lovers out there.

With a wonderfully smooth and fudgy filling and a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate candy shell, these truffles are alluring as can be.

The truffles themselves are infused with peppermint extract, but you’ll get an extra dose of minty flavor from the crushed candy canes sprinkled on top.

14. Easy Kahlua Chocolate Truffle

How about something boozy for an adult-friendly treat? These chocolate truffles are infused with Kahlua for extra oomph.

Besides the liqueur, the chocolate ganache filling is also flavored with espresso powder, giving you an even more intense and wonderful chocolate flavor.

15.  Salted Caramel Fudge Truffles

I love everything with salted caramel in it, and these truffles are no exception.

While I am a fan of desserts, I can’t stand those that are just overwhelmingly, tooth-achingly sweet.

These truffles are the complete opposite.

With their perfect combination of salted caramel, chocolate, and hazelnuts, they’ll have just the right level of sweetness to refresh your palate and tickle your tastebuds.

16. No-Bake Pecan Pie Truffles

Truffles that taste like a pecan pie? It doesn’t seem possible, but I’ve tested them for you, and they’re 1000% legit.

I added the extra zero because these guys are just that amazing.

Seriously, these truffles blow my mind! I love the combination of toasted pecans, crushed biscuits, brown sugar, and maple syrup in the filling.

The flavors they’ll create will truly remind you of a pecan pie.

17. Homemade Black Forest Chocolate Truffles

Dark chocolate, cherries, and cherry brandy join forces to make these dark and decadent chocolate truffles.

Think of this dessert as an irresistible black forest cake but in the form of bite-sized truffles.

18. Coconut Cream Truffles

Give chocolates a tasty tropical twist with coconut cream!

Complete with coconut extract and shredded coconut, these truffles burst with sweet, refreshing, and nutty, coconut flavor.

19. Orange Creamsicle Truffles

In the mood for something nostalgic? Take a trip down memory lane and have a bite (or two, or three) of these orange creamsicle truffles.

Made with whipped cream and orange zest, among other things, these truffles will instantly take you back to your childhood days going to town on a classic orange creamsicle.

20. Chocolate Raspberry Truffles

These chocolate raspberry truffles are a wonderful combination of decadent chocolate and refreshing raspberries!

This duo creates the perfect flavor profile. These truffles are sweet, but not overwhelmingly so because the sugar is balanced out by the tart berries.

The truffles are rolled in crushed, freeze-dried raspberries for extra freshness and a wonderful pop of color.

  1. I am hoping to make some of these ahead for a party. How far ahead can I make them? Is there any way to store them to keep then longer?

    • Hi Amy, yes, you can make these ahead of time! Place your truffles in an air-tight container and keep them in the fridge. They’ll stay fresh and delicious for up to 2 weeks. For the best flavor, let them come to room temperature before serving.
