Ingredients
I know, I know – I said two ingredients. And it is, I swear!
The cinnamon is optional, and you can totally leave it out. I just think it lifts the peach pie filling a little and keeps it from being too sweet.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Peach Pie Filling: Sweet, juicy peaches nestled in a thick, syrupy filling that bubbles and caramelizes as it bakes.
- Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls: A clever shortcut that adds a delightful cinnamon-spiced flavor and a fluffy, doughy texture to the cobbler.
- Ground Cinnamon (optional): This warm, aromatic spice adds depth and a cozy, comforting flavor to the filling.

Tips For the Best Cinnamon Roll Peach Cobbler
Since there are only two ingredients, I suggest splurging on good brands.
Get cinnamon rolls and pie filling you know you enjoy, and this be amazing!
Here are a few more tips:
- Avoid overbaking. Check the cobbler around the 40-minute mark and remove it from the oven once the cinnamon rolls are golden brown to prevent drying.
- Cool slightly. Let the cobbler cool for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the filling to set. This makes serving much easier.
- Make homemade filling. Mix 32 ounces of thawed frozen peaches with 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Make it creamy. Mix 8 ounces cream cheese with 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Dollop over the filling before adding the cinnamon roll pieces.
- Cinnamon roll choice. Use one (5 count) can cut into 6 pieces each, or one (8 count) can cut into 4. I don’t recommend using two cans, as that will make the topping too thick. It won’t cook properly, and you’ll have gummy/raw spots.
- Fruity variations. Try other fruits like apples, cherries, berries, or a combination of fruits for a unique twist.
- Serving ideas. Serve the cobbler warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream. Or sprinkle chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
How to Store
As with most cobbler recipes, this is best enjoyed right away. The longer it sits, the more soggy the cinnamon rolls will get.
That said, you can save leftovers for a couple of days.
To Store: Place the cooled leftovers in an airtight container or cover the baking dish tightly with plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
To Reheat: For individual servings, microwave for 30-45 seconds or until warm. For larger portions, cover with foil and heat in a 350°Fahrenheit oven for 10-15 minutes.
To Freeze: Wrap the layered, unbaked dish in plastic and foil and freeze for 2-3 months. Thaw in the fridge and bake as instructed.
Note: I don’t recommend freezing leftovers as the cinnamon rolls are likely to dry out.
